Post Sucky, sucky, sucky, sucky!
Over the past couple of days a good friend of mine has been miscarrying her wee bub  I feel so awful for her, it's so unfair, and it's brought back all of these memories that were just sitting there below the surface for me.
I went with her yesterday for a scan to see what was going on and the sonographer was a total cow and refused to say anything about what she had seen. I know enough about u/s to make out the gestational sac with no yolk sac or fetal pole but the sonographer made her wait until the radiologist had sent the report to her doctor. The report was inconclusive, as were her hCG results so it became a waiting game. Overnight she started passing clots etc. so I guess it's over.
I remember the waiting so well, it was the hardest part, knowing but not knowing, and no one able to give you any answers, just having to wait and see. I really hate that she is going thru this, that anyone has to go thru this, and I really want to be able to support her thru it, but I'm not sure if I'm the best person for that at the moment as I still have so many unresolved issues of my own.
Sucky, sucky, sucky, sucky!

Thanks for letting me ramble.

Hugs Emma, that is really sucky.
I hope your friend gets some answers soon, and I'm sure you will be a wonderful support to her as you know what she is going through and even if you still have unresolved issues, you will still be understanding and thoughtful of her.

Take care to you both
Jacqui

totally totally sucky Emma,
(((hugs))) for you and (((hugs))) for your friend. Perhaps being there and supporting her through her grief may help you resolve some of your issues. You could be just what she needs.
Take care hun.

Hugs Emma, You said it all really sucky.
And unresolved issues or not your friendship and support will be wonderful for her and may just be what you need to help you work through some of them yourself.
Hugs

Oh Emma... my heart jumped into my mouth when I saw that you had posted in the m/c section.

Huge hugs to your friend, like the others have said i'm sure that you will be just what your friend needs at this time, someone who knows the pain and heartache associated with m/c.
