Post Bought a book, and started going to counselling
So I had my first counselling session today. The counsellor was really nice, and it turned out she works for a pregnancy loss helpline as well so she's had experience helping women with baby loss. It was great to finally be able to start letting it out. I left feeling a bit teary as it brought a lot of stuff up but it was definitely worth going. I'm glad I got over my reluctance and finally started!!

I also purchased a book called "Empty Cradle Broken Heart", and it's fantastic. It's like someone got into my heart and wrote down everything I feel and have felt about losing MJ. It's a really good tool for moving forward because it lets you know what to expect, and it lets you know that you aren't alone. It's written in a way that makes it very easy to relate to. One thing that has struck me from the book is that in one of the quotes from a woman who has experienced baby loss, she says that she's gotten to a point where the loss is not her whole focus, but the absence of that child from her life is always there.

Um yeah, just wanted to share that. :P Hope everyone is doing ok.

Good on you Kitten, I hope it helps you to move forward with your precious wee babe in your heart.
Another book I wish I had read after our loss and before I got preg with the gremlins is Life After Baby Loss by Nicola Miller-Clendon. I read it after I had them and like you said it was like someone had reached into my heart and pulled out everything that was in there, I might have coped better with my subsequent pregnancy if I'd read it earlier.
