Post subject:  Feeling empty....
The babies I miscarried (apart from the one where I was further along) I buried under (okay beside) a memorial tree in my back yard. We moved two weeks ago and settled yesterday. So, on Sunday when we were there to get the last of our stuff, I dug around the tree, about three feet out and two feet deep and couldn't find them. They weren't where I left them :( I near killed the tree cos I cut through all the roots looking for them and it was on a hell lean. We've had to leave the tree behind also because its flourished into this big beautiful tree (while means a lot spiritually to me) and didn't really want to kill it either. I feel I have let my angels down...

Oh Telly that must have been awful for you. But you haven't let them down. They know you tried and you tried hard to find them and take them with you. I know how much it means to have them physically with you, but remember they are with you in spirit no matter where they are physically.

I know they are with me spiritually - but I wanted a part of them with me too and I couldn't for the life of me find them. I wanted to take the tree but it is far too big and deep rooted now and didn't want to kill it especially since it means so much to me.

Hubby suggested taking some dirt and taking a photo of the tree, but it settled before I got the chance to do so. My only other option is to go at night and do it (its going to be rented so no one in there at the moment).

I feel like I've left a part of me behind....

Taking some dirt sounds like a nice idea. You could create a nice little portable garden with it, or just keep it in a safe place. And your angels will be embedded in it
