Its been done
Well - seeing as the land went unconditional and settles on the 30th Nov - i went out a week and a half ago and dug up my baby. It was harder to do that than to dig out the tree which I spent 45 mins trying to get out of the ground. I took Sarah out there with me, and as I was digging to get baby out of the ground - she sat next to me in silence - like it was a 'respect' sorta thing - IYKWIM. It was really moving - it was also very difficult. The sad thing is that I didn't have anywhere to put my box with the contents of bubba - so its sitting beside the tree in the pot I dug up under some rather heavy stones. I didn't see the need in re-burying it where we are living at the moment because we are going to move soon. I guess too with Christmas coming up - and the due date being around there - i can't help but think what if.....

Hugs Love, That has never got to have been a easy thing to do. May be a x large planter pot that you can put bub and a plant in and it is movable with you where ever you go?

Thats a good idea - 'cept the plant isn't really a plant - tis a tree. We planted the tree last year on the one year anniversary - and made sure we picked a tree that'd grow big and strong. The next place we are in it'll be going in the ground again - as we def won't be going anywhere from there - we'll be mortgaged to the hilt for a long time. Just so hard thinking I don't have a 'proper' place to put him at the moment....

Hi Telly,
Just for now, maybe you could buy a really nice jewellery box or something similar to place him in until you plant another tree.
Hugs

Am glad we move into our new place this week, will mean tree and baby will get to go back in the ground.
I've seen that a local cat has destroyed my tree - and its looking worse for wear - hope it survives
