Post subject:  Christmas tree
I have decided to go with the idea of buying each of my kids a new decoration for the tree each year. I can't remember where I heard it but the idea is that when they leave home eventually they can take their box of decorations with them (and all the lovely memories of childhood Christmases).

Of course Maria won't get to do that, we will have her decorations always! Here's a pic of Maria's section of the tree. Her name bauble we bought the first Christmas we had without her. That same Christmas my SIL gave me the glass angel. This year I bought her the macrame angel from Trade Aid.
