Memorial things
What sort of things have you all done in memory of your baby?
I have done:
Thomas's memory quilt framed with Photos
a shelf with photos and cross stitches and ornaments.
I had a garden but am gonna do a permanent one once we move into our own home.
A scrapbook album
But to me its still not enuff, but I dont know what else to do.
Huggles

We've had a sketch done, this site was also done in memory of Trinity, planted 2 rose bushes (I've since realised that the rose is Trinitys birth flower), made 2 bracelets (and also ordered 2), painted an urn and 2 candle holders (we burn the candles every night we are home), still working on her album, written a poem, dedicated a star in her name (Hipparcos Catalogue No. 93629 in the constellation Pavo, FYI), done a painting (as seen in the 'artwork inspired by my loss' post), and I've become even more obsessed with pink than I was before. Theres probably more that I haven't put here and probably more to come as I don't seem to be able to do enough.

For Riley I have done a memory box with a photo album, a book poems and words of dedication from family and friends, his birth certificate with his rememberance bracelet as a holder, all the little mementos from pregnancy eg: cards from the baby shower etc...
I have a sea cheast with his toys and blankets and clothes that I bought for him. His photo sits in the centre of our bookshelf with his ashes and a crystal angel watching over him.
2 days after I lost Riley and went and bought an 18ct gold heart locket which now is filled with his ashes and I wear it all the time.
I am always doing little things and we are going to get a painting done in the near future.
Like you Manda I don't seem to be able to do enough.

We have a memory box with a blanket, footprints, hand prints, her id bracelet, hair, her teddy bear from grandma, all the letters and cards including those from pregnancy, a mosaic butterfly that I made for her nursery wall, photos and a few gifts that people gave me at the service. We did her footprints in plaster and they are in a shadow box in the living room along with the angels that people gave us. We have a needle point with her name and date of birth on the wall where her crib used to be. I have a gold ID bracelet with Nicole on it that I wear all the time. I also have a gold cross on a chain (as does my dh) just like the one Nicole wears and these were blessed during the service. I bought a locket which contains a picture and some of her hair.
Manda, I really like the idea of the candles every night. We try to keep fresh flowers in the apartment. Eventually I would like a garden (once I have my own house).
I too try to think of more ways to memorialise, so this topic was a good idea!
Jenn

Hi all,
I forgot to say that I painted an urn for Trinitys ashes (well it was a jewelery box) and 2 candle holders. Here's a pic.
