 Poem for Riley I just wanted to share this poem that I wrote for Riley
I want to sing you a lullaby
I want to wrap my arms around you
I want to show you all the stars up in the sky
Just breathe……..
I want to wipe that tear from your cheek
I want to see your smile
And I have a need to hear you speak
Just breathe………
I want to read you stories in the night
I want to soothe you when you cry
I hope you know you’re my delight
Just breathe………
I want to see the twinkle in your eye
I want to dance and play and laugh with you
Instead you have wings so you can fly
Just breathe……….
Darling baby, this lullaby’s for you, with love
As in my dreams I rock you gently
While I think of you watching from above
Just breathe
