6 months
Well its 6 months today, that my little angel Satori was born
In some respects it feels like yesterday, and in others it been a long, hard and sad journey to this point. I miss her so much, that I swear I can feel my heart aching.
Today I am planting her winter flowers - poppies and, so that her garden is nice and colourful(will post a picture when it is finished)
I just wanted to share a poem that I read the day we planted her tree (A japenese blosoming cherry). It was supposed to be planted on her due date but those plans fell over due to extremely bad weather on the day - we ended up planting it a few days later.
This is the reading:
Do Not Stand at My Grave
Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the softly falling snow. I am the gentle showers of rain, I am the fields of ripening grain. I am in the morning hush, I am in the graceful rush, Of beautiful birds in circling flight, I am the starshine of night. I am in the flowers that bloom, I am in a quiet room. I am in the birds that sing, I am in each lovely thing. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there. I do not die.
This reading has given me alot of comfort ofver the last six months and is something I read often.
Attached is a photo I took of Satori's garden and tree while Flynn was playing around replanting flowers the other day.

first off Huge hugs Yvonne, it is so hard to cope sometimes when it feels like time is passing you by and moving too quickly. Satori's garden looks beautiful.

Yvonne, huge to you and your family for Satori's 6 month angel day. I have Eva's coming up next week so I know what a tough time it is.
The garden and the poem are just so beautiful, perfect for a beautiful little girl.

Thanks for all of your hugs and support ladies.
I had an alright day - I planted her winter flowers, not that you can see them yet, but soon they will look awesome. I also put a butterfly and a bumblebee stake into her garden. The builders that were here doing the windows ect must have wondered what was going on! lol. I also had her candle burning all day, and wrote some more of her journal.
At the Sands group this month, a couple were talking about how they did a butterfly release for their little girl. I thought that was a fantastic idea, and something I am going to do for Satori's first angel birthday Apparently they courier the butterflies to you from Hamilton.
Anyway I hope you are all well and take care
Yvonne
