I haven't posted anything for ages, really since the first introduction but have been on line reading a lot....We lost our first baby Anya in October 2007 and are now expecting our second baby...I am 23 weeks and things are going well but am scared, I find it really hard to plan for baby after loosing Anya...but my vent today is.... a guy I work with (and there is only 5 of us) became an Uncle today and I asked what they named her...and they named her Anya. I went red and changed the subject....I was quite hurt, it is not a common name in fact I only know of one other Anya and she is in her 30's I felt like asking where they found the name but didn't... everyone in the smoko room said nothing, the name subject was changed quickly...I know we don't have exclusive rights to the name but I just felt it was really insensitive and am pissed off.... I am just being stupid...??

Oh Sweetie you are most definitely NOT being stupitd!!! FOr you the name Anya has such special meaning, and for this guy to just blurt it out like that is cruel. It was obvious by the others reactions in the staff room that he had been thick and not thinking, it sounds like even they were shocked. Not much advice here, just wanted to give you a
