Well as some of you may have known we had Julia placed into her plot at the crematorium this weekend.
The day turned out sh##ty, with rain and cold temperatures, but it cleared up at 11am on the dot, when we were all meeting at the crem. ( Julia planned it that way)
When we organised all of this FIL and I agreed that we didin't think we'd be able to cope with placing the ashes in the plot ( him for MIL and me for Julia) so the funeral director did that on the Friday so come Saturday they were already there waiting for us.
I was doing okay going to the crem but as soon as I saw the plaque and read Julia's details on it it hit me all over again and I started to cry, all of the people there just had some time to themselves to have a quiet think and reflect on their thoughts, then FIL and I released two helium ballons, a blue one for MIL and a pink one for Julia.
I actually coped with it quite well.
