Hi all,
Thanks for your thoughts ands wishes. We had a lovely (if not hectic) day. The weather was pretty much perfect. We had a bit of a family lunch and at around 1ish we let 2 bright pink (one for each year) and 6 white balloons go. They floated off towards the sun, which was kinda nice. Before we let them go I read this poem:
WE DO NOT NEED A SPECIAL DAY
We do not need a special day
To bring you to our minds.
The days we do not think of you
Are very hard to find.
Each morning when we awake,
We know that you are gone.
And no one knows the heart ache
As we try to carry on.
Our hearts still ache with sadness
And secret tears still flow.
What it meant to lose you
No one will ever know.
Our thoughts are always with you,
Your place no one can fill.
In life we loved you dearly;
In death we love you still.
There will always be a heartache,
And often a silent tear.
But always a precious memory
Of the days when you were here.

It was very sad, but at the same time, peaceful. I miss Trinity so much and still struggle every day that this even happened to me.
Anyway, heres a few pics.
The flowers on the right, the rainbow and the triangle ornament are from Mum (Nana), the other flowers and Goose are from my sister (Aunty Shells), I bought the Rose candle and rose tealights, I had them burning all day and blew out the rose candle when we went to bed (the tealights burned out themselves).
