Work in progress pictures of my reborn doll
I hired a woman to do a reborn doll of Calypso. It will be done in Calypso's height and weight at birth, head, arms, and legs in polymer clay and then with a soft body. Here are the progress pics I got tonight. Those aren't the arms she'll be using but were a spare set and she wanted to show me what it looked like with arms

Oh WOW! What a fantastic way to remember your angel Calypso. It is amazing the likeness, and what a lovely lady to do this sort of thing. Have a question for you if you dont mind me asking.... How much is ist costing you to get the Calypso doll made? I have often thought of doing this myself for Julia and was wondering what the cost invloved is.
Like Yvonne said we are all waiting for the finished photos anxiously.

Cost including shipping is about $275 USD Not bad considering it's 100% hand sculpted and will come home to me in an outfit made by the creator.
