Wohoooo congrats Tracey. That is great news.
My DD was due on xmas day and I thought she was a gift from my Angel Ashley, (although she was induced 2 and a bit weeks early).
All the best for the next 8 months.

Thanks everyone, I am going to call the midwife tomorrow so we can get an appointment at the clinic and talk about treatment plans. I'll be honest, I am not as excited as I thought I would be. It doesnt seem real. Suppose it will sink in sooner or later. At the moment I feel detached, and I feel guilty for feeling like this.

Hey Tracey
I was wondering how you were feeling about it all. Don't feel guilty ..... I think it's only natural to have a range of emotions when you have been through what you have. There is so much to deal with and I think excitment is probably just one part of all of that, mixed in with fear and anxiety of what the next 8 months hold. Just remember we are all here for you and completely understand where you are coming from.
Big hugs sweets

Don't feel guilty, your GG has made this happen for you. If she was not happy it would not have happened for you! I cannot understand how you are feeling but I am sure that it is quite an emotional time for you, this is going to be a healthy pg for you, you are blessed with a little bro or sis to GG, you will eventually come to terms with it...
you lucky sausage.

I've been booked in urgently at the clinic for tomorrow morning. I was quite surprised that they got me in so quick, but apparently I have to have a whole lot of tests. So I guess its a waiting game now.

Hi guys, thanks for your support.
Not much happened today really. They are booking me in for a scan in about 3-4 weeks. I am not starting on any treatments just yet, they took my bloods, what a performance that was, two veins collapsed then they had to get someone else to try another! They will call me for a follow up after the scan to discuss options. They want to avoid pumping me with clexane etc because there is no scientific proof that it will work seeing as I had high blood pressure, not clotting. So in other words, no one knows what they are doing at this stage of the game, its all wait and see. Not very reassuring really.

Thanks Lynne, my midwife is on holiday at the moment, so I am meeting her back up next Wednesday. But apparently they are both away over Christmas which is when I am due! I will stick with them for now anyway. My first midwife was wonderful so really want her, and I remember she told me that she would be there for the next birth no matter what, so we'll see what happens (not that I will hold her to that if she is on holiday!!)

Hey Tracey,
Good luck with your upcoming scan. I hope all of your bloods come back well.
I went and had bloods done yesterday too, just to check if all is OK for trying to TTC. Man, they must have taken 5-6 viles, and the chicky who was doing it wasn't all that gentle! She also didn't say much to me - I don't think she really new what to say, as my bloods form had "Late Pregnancy Loss " on it. In the end she commented on my ring and then wished me Good Luck with everything when I left.
I have an appt with the Gestational Diabetes Clinic, at the hospital, on Monday, to discuss nutrition, and the plan of attack for subsequent pregnancy. Should be interesting
My AF is also playing games with me. Last cycle it was early by 2 days, and this cycle it is late by 2 days now! You are probably thinking - She might be pregnant - but no - we only did it once this cycle, and at completely the wrong time (way late) because we all had the flu in this house. Not very romantic, TTCing, when you have the snots and grots, me thinks
Also I did a PG test yesterday and it was BFN.
Might have to ask on Monday if it hasn't shown up
Anyway, I am rambling on. I hope all is good with you, and that you are feeling well. Sending you lots of Sticky vibes doll

Thanks Carley, I've been thinking about you heaps, I really hope things come right for you.
Yvonne, sounds like you didnt have too much fun getting your bloods either! They had put on mine something very similar and the first guy to take the bloods didnt know what to say. The lady who finally managed to get some blood out of me didnt acknowledge that she had even seen it and carried on as normal, which was good in a way. Hope the TTCing works!! Snot nose or not!
