Post No AF
My AF is very overdue, I did two preg tests and both were negative. I don't know what is going on with me. I've been feeling really nauseated, but now I wonder if I've just convinced myself to make up some preg symptoms?! :( Maybe I've just been testing too early and need to wait for another weeks or so?

This is just so frustrating!

Looks like my cycle calculator thing at the bottom of the page thinks I've had my AF already!

Hi Lizzielou,
Sending baby dust your way. Don't give up hope yet, my SIL did a pg test when she was 2 days overdue and it was negative and she did another a few days after that and it was a really faint positive, she now has a beautiful healthy 8 month old little girl. Fingers crossed for you.

That sounds really good to hear, it gives me a bit of hope. I just have to try and be patient, and not spew my breakfast (still not sure if thats morning sickness or just over excitement)! I'm starting to feel quite convinced that it has happened now. We've only been trying for a month, and it took three months last time, I did not expect to get preg this quickly, so maybe its just a bit hopeful?

Waiting sux!

Still no AF today. Can't really afford to keep doing HPT's, so I'm off to the GP to try and convince her to let me have a blood test or at least a few freebie HPT's.

Wish me luck!

You guys are all so nice! Its great having someone to share the anticipation with, other than my DH of course. Well I got my blood test, so should have the results by tomorrow. I'll try calling my GP late morning, and if they don't have the results yet I'll pop into work (I work at the hospital) and check out the computer system for myself.

The suspence is killing me though :?

My blood test came back negative. Bugger! I was so sure too, and now I wonder what on earth is going on with me, no AF, nausea, sore boobs? How come?

Oh Lizzy so sorry about the results. Are you going to go to the doc to find out whats going on? I was so sure it was going to happen for you, and why not, you have all the signs. Keep us posted.

Yeah its a bit of mystery. I still feel sick, so its not a mind thing, and I've had a terrible headache all morning. I wonder if its the flu or something? At least I can take a Nurofen now.

Not sure what to do next. I'm going away this weekend for a conference in Rotorua (bring on the free booze!), so if no AF by next week I might book into the GP again. I've never missed a period before so its a bit odd, and it makes it hard TTC if my cycle is messed up! I'm not suprised that it is a bit off though, I had a crap time after my M/C with bleeding etc, so it seems that maybe going back on the pill was the only thing keeping me regular.

Its OK that I'm not pregnant though, I can enjoy non-pregnant stuff for a bit longer(ie. wine, parties, subway, and sushi), and I'm a part time student so at least I'll be able to do the first semester next year.

Lizzie

Still no AF  And I'm still feeling sick and have sore tits! I'm just clinging to the hope that maybe we just tested a bit too early. I'll have another go at a HPT on Wed. Fingers crossed.
