Waiting, waiting, waiting...
For AF to appear. We have been given the go ahead to TTC again as soon as she has been and gone, so for the first time in my life I am actually WAITING for her lol. My doc checked my hCg last week and it was back at 0, so said AF should be back soon, and now all the signs are there that she should be here some time in the next week.
Ordered some OPK's off Trade Me today to plan ahead, and told DP to get his practising boots on . I'm a bit angry about having to try - I should be going into second trimester next week, but at the same time have my fingers very tightly crossed that it won't take as long to conceive as it took with the baby we lost (11 months).

Waiting together has got to be better than waiting alone.
I hope your AF arrives asap and then lots of baby dust all around everyone on the TTC board!

I know how ironic it is to be wanting AF to come. I remember how it cheered me up after 64 days of waiting! I hope she comes soon for you.

All the best Emma.
Isn't it ironic how things never quite seem to happen as we want them. My AF came exactly 4 weeks after we had Maria and I remember how angry I was at the time, I did not want to even think about TTC and I felt so betrayed by my body. Now you are in the opposite situation, I really hope that you don't have to wait too long.

Melanie - I'm sorry, I was hoping yours would get lost and somehow find it's way to me. Oh well, looks like we'll be TTC together (if mine ever arrives!). Bring it on!!
Alana - I sort of get what you mean - I feel like by getting excited about TTC again that I am somehow disrespecting my angel, but at the same time, I also feel like getting preg again will be the only way I can truly heal.
Thank you everyone else for your support - I will keep you posted on our progress!
In the mean time practise, practise, practise (or not since we have no contraception... )

She showed! Of course as always the timing could be better - Willie and I are off to a black tie do tonight so will be feeling extra bloated in my rather clingy black dress (thank God for support underwear lmao!).
But I am so excited. That means that in about 10 days time we will be trying again!
