Becoming pg in 2006!
Hi guys,
Thought I'd start my own TTC thread as it seemed to work for Telly and Kim!
I find the waiting for the right time to BD does my head in! You know all that eating well and checking the temp and timing opks - gees!
On CD3 today with a cycle of 26 to 29 days and have done blood tests which are all fine so I AM ovulating etc. I am sure it is stress over missing Amelie that is stopping us getting pg. But how not to get stressed?!! Any tips most welcome.
thanks,
Melanie

I can't even begin to imagine what you are going thru, but I had a friend who went thru the recurrent m/c clinic at Nat Womens and she said the best part of the whole process was the relaxation classes, they really helped her stress and anxiety levels. Maybe something similar would help you unwind/deprogram sort of to help the spermies catch the egg. I did some yoga when I was TTC and whilst I don't think it helped the actual TTC process, it certainly helped me to chill a lot.
But I'm prob not the best person to give advice on stress atm - I am a virtual stressball!
Best of luck hun!

I have to agree with Emma in regards to some form of relaxation, having been to those very classes myself (recurrent miscarriage clinic), the relaxation does work.
Try lying down and close your eyes and spend a couple of minutes relaxing your whole body starting from the top of your head down to your toes, when you feel all relaxed focus on your womb and use creative visulisation to envision a warm, cushy welcoming place for your little bubs to implant in, while thinking or saying out loud a positive affirmation.
Forgot to say that at the beginning to place any worries that are bothering you into an imaginary basket and they are not to be thought of until you have finished your relaxation technique.
I'm not sure if your are into something like this but if you are I hope it helps.
Take care
Jacqui

Hi all,
Well its been a bit deserted here for a fair while so i thought i would post!
I COULD be pg - have been having the SAME post 'O' temp (37.1) for the last 7 days - very different for me. AF is due in the day or so I'll keep you posted if it does not arrive.
Just SOO desperately want to be pg and growing a new baby.
Missing Amelie heaps though i have been doing well with not getting nearly as stressed.

Well AF arrrived at the end of work this evening - was 2-3 days late. I really hate that as it did my head in!
Trying to think of things to feel positive about.
Feeling very sad.
DH is away all this week and isn't even here for the whole fertile week of next cycle so hells bells.

Oh Melanie...I'm so sorry. It must be especially hard with your DH away.
Feel free to share any feelings with us, positive or not. TTCing is such an emotionally hard time especially when your body plays little tricks on you.
Sending (((((BIG HUGS))))) across the suburbs.
Take care.
Claire

Thanks Claire and Nicoles mum. Yep feeling pretty low at the moment. Oh well only one way to go from here I guess.
I just never imagined it would take so long to get pg again.
Also thought i had done heaps of work emotionally but now feel pretty trashed by these emotions. I'd really like a bit of luck .
Usually I am such a positive person.
