nope no sign of my puddy tat
Fingers crossed that she turns up out of the blue one day...
hey Yvonne, they have decided to see if I can start labour after rupturing the waters and go that way, less pain and shorter recovery time etc, and if I do then they will do my tubes via keyhole surgery at my six week check up, but if I dont start labour then they will c section me and do my tubes then...
I had been thinking that what I might do is get some raspberry leaf tea and capsules that you poke up your *ahem* and start that a few days before the 9th and then I will be able to deliver naturally.
Has anyone used the raspberry leaf tea? If so how effective was it?

Oh Carley its getting real close now!
I used rasberry leaf tea, and thought it tasted really blurghh I don't really know if it helped or not, its kinda hard to tell. I also took 5W capsules for the last 6 weeks and they have rasberry leaf in them amongst other bits and pieces.
I did use evening primrose capsules up the 'You know where' once I was overdue, and I think I took them orally from about 38 weeks or so. It was about 20 mins after errrrr .........inserting...........one of these capsules that my waters broke and I immediately went into labour. I reckon they did the trick alright!

sounds like this may be the way to go for me then!!
I know this may sound strange but most people have fear of having a c section but me...I have a fear of delivering a normal sized baby naturally. I suppose it is because I have already had a c section with Bayden, and my delivery with Julia was so quick that I dont think it really registered that I had had a natural delivery IYKWIM? I suppose it is just one of my fears that I will have to face, and if I can deliver naturally then my recovery time will be shorter too...
On a different note...our cat turned up this evening, it looks like she has got a broken back left leg and I have to take her to the vet in the morning and they will give her the once over. DH said that there will be a $1000 bill, but he knows that I will spend what ever it takes to get our puddy tat back to normal...poor puddy she is curled up on a blanket and looking worse for the wear. Even Bayden is being gentle with her , it is soo cute, he keeps going up to her and patting her head and asking her if she is alright.

yah Carley for puddy kat back but ouchie. Hope all heals fast there.
LOL on scare of natural. I can understand that thought, but also couldn't imagine ever having a c-section...to me that sounds more ouchie for longer.. after having cam prem I was so scare of having a bigger baby but tell the truth it was so much easier coz they don't keep shootin back up LOL...but charli was a wee thing too.
What ever works to get a healthy little babe out is what is right for your body and family. You already know that LOL so I can only send ya more love and a pain free birth (ending vibes from now to build up in time) and a gorgeous wee buba to show off to us later

Carley - I can understand how you feel, I am terrified too. Georgia was only a tiny 325grams so i am having trouble with thinking about a normal size baby! I am freaking out! It didnt register with me at all that I had had a natural birth with her because of all the emotions that went along with it. Big hugs!!!

LOL Tracy on making you laugh. I thought my birth was hard and honesty thought my sis(barney t) having her wee angel would have been a breeze (labour wise) but she did it all for hours and no pain relief...legend of a sister I tell you. But Ibet you can relate having little one simialar size to her. MY little baby was 4p 4oz LOL so not too little for his gest.
How you going Carley? All well? How is kittykat? I lit a candle for little miss Julia yesterday.

Hey Carley, I drunk the raspberry leaf tea with peppermint tea in it and it tasted so much nicer combined. They are both meant to help your uterus tone up for labour to help push baby out.
I took the EPO capsules orally and a few up there too and I think they helped when I was induced to get things really going and after my waters were broken with Josh he was here just under 4 hours later (and I was only 4 cms dilated with my waters were broken with Josh).

Thanks for lighting a candle for Julia Hun
Well puss puss is doing okay, took her to the vet last saturday and it turns out that she had been in a wicked scrap and one of the wild critters had bitten her back leg and it had gotten terribly infected. The vet had to knock her out to drain her leg and now she is on antibiotics for the rest of the week. She is now walking better and with Bayden's "love and attention" we have been told that she is able to jump on and off things (more like he was annoying the crap outta her and she had to get off or on said items just to get away from him )
Off to Htown again tomorrow...it is gonna be interesting this one as some of the EBB girls are having a get together over there as well, so will get to put a few faces to the names...keep an eye on the Dec MTB thread as there may be a photo pop up in there of me with another MTB.
that Htown discharge me from their care tomorrow and transfer it all back to Rotovegas...well better go and give the Kitty her medicine...its a good thing that she likes it otherwise I would have to sit on her like I do when I give her her worm tablets *might end up with a flat cat if I do it now*
BTW: thanks for all of your replies regarding the EPO and RLT, I will definitely talk to the m/w or specialist about it next week when I see them and see what they have to say about it all.

OHHHHHHH How cool ! ...... thanks for letting us know. Is it going to be hard trying to keep it from DH? I don't think I could - he would soon pick up on things that I'm buying and the clean out or not of Caitlyn's clothes!
That is so exciting!
Now I feel the pressure to spill the beans too ..... but will keep you all guessing for a while yet!!

Well Carley, aren't you a clever girl!!!
Mind you those scan pics you posted were clearly a variety, even with my untrained eye...lol.
Fantastic news, and I can't wait to see her. Have you thought of any names yet?

Well another visit with Rotorua over and done with. Saw a different Dr today to my normal one and she asked me point blank which method of delivery I preferred and I said c section and she has promised that if she is on call the day I go in then she will honour my wishes and section me straight away and not worry with the rupturing of the waters etc. Have had to have my wees sent away for testing as there are traces of protein and lucosites(sp) in there, plus my legs and ankles have swollen up heaps too... got told off by the hospital m/w and told to put my feet up and if it gets any worse or starts to hurt then to go in, asked the Dr at what gestation do Rotorua look after new borns and she said that if I was to deliver today then they could look after bubs there, they would only transfer if there was a problem with bubs and they didnt feel they could handle it.
right better go and have a soak in the foot spa and read my magazines and do the crosswords...

Well time for another update methinks...
Had my last visit with Waikato yesterday all going good with bubs, she is now measuring .....
wait for it.....
wait for it......
7lb 3oz
I have a good feeling that this one is gonna be a lil porjer just like her big brother was
I am off to Rotorua next week (Wednesday) for bloods, Dr and m/w visits, plus I have to go back in on friday for my pre admission check up, where they will see if my body can handle the anesethic etc. Then I will be back in twice the following week for monitoring...
and then low and behold the following week....
I AM HAVING THE BABY!!! :excited::excited::excited::excited::excited::excited:
I can believe that I am nearly at the end of this journey, and it is just about over.
I would like to say a huge thatnk you to each and every one of you lovely ladies...I dont think I would have been able to survive this without your support and love and understanding.
right better go and sort out DS sounds like he is harrassing the cat again...
oh PS Lynne yes I am putting my feet up, I even got in the swimming pool with Bayden today just so I could cool down, it was farking cold but man it was nice...
