Great News Carley
It sounds like you are being well looked after sweet
It'll will probably make things a little less stressful having fortnightly bloods and scans, as you will know where you are at every week.
Hey BTW have you been using your fetal heart monitor thingy?
I plan on getting one of those, once I'm pg of course

Hey Girl that is the best new I have heard in a long time. Woohoo and how much nicer it is having drs that actually explain things well and let you walk away feeling confident in the steps they will take.
Big hugs coming your way.
Woohooo.....I am skipping away from the computer now LOL

Hi all, well had another good visit with the Drs today. They still want to see me every two weeks up at Rotorua too, so will visit them when I get my bloods done the Dr is pleases that there is a good plan in place and was very reassuring that if I am at all worried about bubs movements slowing down then she said dont hesitate to call and go up there and they will check me put. Will have to have this one by c section as had one with Ds and they dont like to put too much pressure on the precious scar tissue. So when she said that I asked that she put in my notes that I want my tubes done while they are in there. We are definitley not going back for more. We had decided that if Julia was going to be born by c section then we wanted it done then too, and the Dr was very obliging and said that she would do that. She alsi said that if I do go into spontaneous labour then they will ship me off to Waikato urgently and bubs will be delivered over there. The goal now is to get to 28wks without anything going wrong, as they arent too keen on delivering any earlier.
Also found out that not only can I get reimbursed for my travel costs to Waikato but I am getting some for my visits to Rotorua too

Huh. What about VBAC then? Or would there be a risk of the blood mixing or something? When I was pg with Aidan I had to see the OB cos I'd had a C section with Eloise and he was all about the risk of uterine rupture. I did some research on the net. It happens. About 1 to 1.5% of the times.
But I guess if you want your tubes tied, might as well do the section.
*hugs*

yeah it is the best way to go regarding the tube issue, as we are definitley NOT having anymore kids, and we had decided that if I had Julia via csection then I would get my tubes done then too. As for the VBAC... I sometimes wonder if the Dr in Rotorua really knows what she is on about though.

Does that mean you get to choose what date you have her? Since its C section? Will they do it at 28 weeks, or do you mean, any time it needs to be done after 28 weeks?

I 2nd the vote for a belly update.
You could get really creative with what you leave on the floor in the next pic
Tracey could post one too with the elusive panty liner hanging around somewhere
BTW,
I had c-section with Satori too because of the risk of rupture, due to having DS by c-section 3yrs earlier. Its probably the best option if you are going to get your tubes done also

Maybe its the MAN full moon at the moment or something
I hope things get better soon.

Men suck.
Yvonne, Chloe was a VBAC, and Eloise was 2 1/2. Aidan was another VBAC, my first labour and all that (on accounts of Chloe being so small).
The C Sectio is good for getting your tubes done I guess..

The plan is for the Drs to get me to 28 weeks before they will think about doing any sort of intervention, either blood transfusions or early delivery. After that if it is needed then they will do it, but all in all the plan is to get me as close as possible to 40wks and then book in for the c section, which will be done at waikato due to the anitbody problem, and then get my tubes done.
