Post Carley's pregnancy diary
Well thought I'd start a pregnancy diary if that is okay, then I can keep everyone up to date in here.
brief history for those who dont know
This is my fourth pregnancy, first one ended in a m/c at 12 wks and had to have a d&c. Second one was Bayden, 41 wks and c section delivery after 14 hrs of labour and the lil monkey disengaged!!! Third was Julia  , 26wks gest. Now with Julia it was discovered in my first lot of bloods that I have anti k antibodies. After much thought we realised that I may have got them through the d&c I had. With Julia I was told that I would need monthly bloods and that I would still be fine to go through my m/w. Sadly things went pear shaped really quickly and we lost our angel girl. From the autopsy results it was recommended that if we decided to try again that I take folic acid as soon as that decision is made (tick), and once I got the positive pg test to get in under specialist care as I would need weekly blood tests to monitior my anitbody levels, closer monitoring and that there could be a 50/50 chance of us losing another baby. So on with the story...
5 weeks
Well according to my ticker bubs now has more brain cells than Paris Hilton!!! I am definitely feeling pg, have got sore boobs, and for those of you who have met me, I didnt think it was possible but they feel like they are 20 times bigger than what they already were!!! I have nausea at odd times during the day, not at the stage of vomiting like I was with Julia, with her it was every morning until 20 wks! I go in tomorrow to get my first lot of bloods done :fingerx: that the anti k doesnt show up and I have a stress free pregnancy. If it does show up then I will start on the long and stressful road of weekly blood tests and regular visits to the specialist. Other than that there is nt much to report at this stage, DH (Phill) told Bayden last night that Mummy has a baby growing in her tummy and according to Bayden "that is stoopid" Boys  . Have pretty much told all of the family, including my family on here :) . Still havent told Phill's family yet, but will get round to it. HaHa had to laugh Phill has been going on about not telling people blah blah, then what does he do... only tells a 5 yr old who cant keep a secret to save himself!!!!
I have been overwhealmed at the amount of support that my family and friends have offered to us, there have even been threats of physical violence to the Drs if something goes wrong!!! Right must go and start my day and get some breakfast for Bayden, thank god for the school holidays (that is proabaly the only time I will say that these holidays  )

update number 3

Well it is with a very heavy heart that I write this update. As I type I have tears streaming down my face. The results of the blood tests are in and it is not good news, infact it is fucking heartbreaking. The antibodies are back and they are higher than when I first got pregnant with Julia!! We are being referred to the clinic at the hosptial for a visit tomorrow or Wednesday, as a acute or emergency referral. And if we dont have any luck getting the answers that we want we will then be going to Hamilton to the clinic there. DH has to have blood tests to see if he is the carrier of the k, and if he is we then have six weeks to make the decision to terminate or risk it and carry on with the rest of the pregnancy. I am so tempted to say stuff it and have a hystarectomy right now so I never have to got hrought his pain again, Why does mother nature have to be such a bitch?!!! What the Fuck have I done to deserve this?

will definitely do that, so just for now I am trying to stay away from the internet and looking things up as that just screws with your mind even more. The Drs have said that if we decide to carry on there is the option of getting to 20 wks and doing a blood transfusion on the baby, which is done like a amnio and has the same risks with it. So who knows, we just have to sit tight and wait for Wednesday.

right I'm off to bed to try and get some sleep, I feel like I have been hit by a bus and my eyes are sore from
