Hi all, blood tests were fine, blood pressure was ok today - still slightly high but of no particular concern. As for the protein, who knows. I had to collect wees and drop them off at the hospital on my way to the maternity ward. So was all peed out by the time I got there, but they are doing all sorts of tests on that so will know pretty quickly if anything flagging up.
I have been told to take it easy - so will milk that one for as long as possible with DH and DSS.

Thank you for your support through this, I get so nervous and paranoid and all anyone here ever says is "ah - ok".

DH is in for surgery to extract a wisdom tooth on Thursday, and then next Thursday he is in ear nose & throat to rebreak his nose and cut some extra bone out - should stop his snoring apparently :excited:!! Oh yeah and stop his sleep apnoea. Works out well cos DSS is off to his grandfathers for the school holidays :jumping: so I will only have the stress of DH and all his pain - which will be 10 times worse than anything we have ever felt   Actually I shouldnt say that cos I wouldnt be without him.

  Got "duck billed" today, YUCK! They thought maybe my membranes had ruptured. All ok tho. No sign of protien, blood pressure a bit high but that could be because DH was upstairs having his op at the same time! Managed to see him before, he looks like crap but in good spirits - suppose you are when you are groggy!

Oh, come on girls, think about it!!!
What does the contraption look like that is used for examinations? DUH!!!
Or is it that I am just the oldest one on here & remember that all too well, even after all these years.
So hugs Tracey, I understand, it's not the most pleasant thing.
As for the blood pressure, totally understand that too......what do they expect in these places? You drive through traffic to get there, wait while they have a coffee....then weigh you, and expect your blood pressure to be down!!! HUH!!! Trust me, just went through that this month when I had to have my check up done!!!! :chillp:
Love & hugs

Sorry - was at work and didnt have time to get into the nitty gritty of it all!
I had a green discharge - sort of luminous (sp) green, the MW said that it could be my membranes. Sorry about the confusion with the duck bills thing too! LOL DH is on the mend, home yesterday.

Glad to hear you and bubs are all OK.

Oh and what a perfect name for it!!! ..... I'll have to remember that one when I next have to have one used - it might make me feel less anxious if I'm having a giggle!

As for the blood pressure hello these Drs should think really shouldn't they?
I had mine done after heaps of bloods the other week, wanted to keep me there to see why it was so low! Trust me I think I got angry fast cause it went up quick smart.

:blue: bit of a stink morning so far. Was crying away while driving over the motor way. I was thinking about a cool pony thing I saw in the supermarket to buy for my friends wee girl, she will be 3 soon. I was imagining how big her smile would be when she saw it. Then I realised that she will be 3 on GG's 1st Angel Birthday. I often think about what I am going to do for that, and have thought about a balloon release with young ones at Miss 3's birthday, but never really thought of all the things that I am not going be to able to share with Georgia. Maybe its the hormones, I dont know cos the birthdays are not until 11 Jan. But then we have this other wee girl on the way and I am getting really scared. :tear: Here I go again! We start ante natal classes tonight, DH is not too thrilled. We were supposed to go last week but the lady who takes them was sick, much to DH's relief! It seems each mile stone we make with this pg, GG is slipping further away from us. :tear: I know she will always be watching over us, but I want her back with me. Gawd I'm at work, I better sort myself out.

aww Tracey first off :bighug: sweetie, what you are feeling is totally normal. It is farking hard when the first angel anniversay roll round, and as for what to do... that is entirely up to you. For Julia's first anniversary I just had a candle going all day for her. Are you able to ask the soon to be three year old's Mum if you could release a balloon for GG? If she isnt too keen on the idea maybe you and DH could do one at home just the two of you...

as for DH not wanting to attend AN classes... why is that?

GG will always be with you sweetie, it is just as the years go by the pain lessens, but she will always be with you and is watching over her little sister and keeping her safe until she is born into your arms.

Feeling better emotional today, although I am getting really shirty at work. So sick of it, doesnt help that my replacement quit so now I am training all over again. In saying that tho, the lady I am training now is lovely.

DH never said why he didnt want to to AN classes, but he survived. I thought he was going to spit the dummy when we had to all introduce ourselves and then play the "getting to know you" games!

I found it quite interesting myself, hopefully he will keep coming.
Anyway still at work, getting grumpy.

Hi Tracey, :bighug:

I competely missed your post yesterday - sorry that you were having such an emotional day. Sweet, GG is with you every minute of everyday, making sure that all is ok with you and the bubba on the way, and DH too.

I'm glad you have started anti-natal classes - DH will get used to them, and you never know you may find some neat friends with children the same age as the bubba you are carrying. I still keep in contact with my group from 4yrs ago :)

The 1st birthday for our angels is a hard one - I had alot of plans earlier in the year, but now I am not sure what I want to do :( I'm sure it will come to me before next month.

I'm glad your new replacement is nice - not too much longer on the work front now, for you :joy:

Take Care Sweet

 Well I thought some retail therapy was needed today, so I went bra shopping - by myself! Never again. The Bendon Outlet store was having a sale, Yay I thought to myself. Stupid shop had the biggest maternity bras on the bottom shelf! HEEELLLOOO how is a rolly polly like me supposed to get down there! Finally managed with a bit of help, but usually I am a 14 DD - E (big enough!) I have popped to an 18 F. WTF??? I only got two bras because I am sure the school girl helping me got it all wrong! Oh and they don't have fittings when they have a sale so it was all guess work. My advice is - TAKE A FRIEND!!! I was popping in and out of the changing room all the time, and had to keep putting my own scuddy bra back on! It was exhausting and it didnt really help me emotionally. Think I will save my money and go baby gear shopping on Trademe - so much easier!

 Tracey - sounds like a bit of a mare!

I'm sorry I have to laugh thinking of you trying to get your 18f's into a 14DD  Can't have been to comfy

Hmmmm, I can't imagine a schoolgirl would have to much knowledge on what boobies do in pg. Well I hope you new bras give you some support through the next 10weeks - then its maternity bras and they are just gorgeous  - and a whole other experience  Make sure you get those babies fitted.

Baby shopping on Trade Me definitely sounds like more fun :)

Oh Tracey I know this feeling alll too well. I too am a normally well endowed woman and nusually fit a DD, but with this pregnancy I am now a 18F too. I went to a specialist lingerie shop in town and got fitted and couldnt believe it when the lady said to try a 18F!!! But alas she was right, there is still a bit of room left in the cup, to allow for the expected expansion when my milk comes in, but atleast the backs are no longer cutting into me.

Hope that your baby shopping on TM was a better experience.

BTW: check out these maternity bars
http://www.hotmilklingerie.co.nz/newzealand

they are absolutely beautiful, and sooo not what you would expect maternity bras to be like.
I have the Age of Allure Bra and am thinking of getting the Confidence is Radience one too.

Yep they sure have lovely stuff... I have since ordered the confidence is radience bra, you just have to be careful which ones you order as some of the bras can be very low cut

Carley, you said in your pg diary - 99 point turn to roll over in bed. MY GAWD!!! I experienced that over the last couple of nights, I can not find a comfy position and DH is getting really shirty! Gone are the days of rolling over quietly and nodding off. It is now a series of grunts, groans and kicks, I swear it takes about 2 mins to roll from one side to another! Even the cat has had enough and moved to the other side of the bed!

I had the GTT - Glucose Tolerance Test today, it wasnt too bad but sitting there for 2 hours was a bit much, I kept nodding off! Fingers crossed for the results.

I'm sitting at work at the moment, soo tired, can't concerntrate on anything!!!

BTW Carley - I am off to look at the bras in the weekend!!

Reading that soooo reminds me of those last few weeks! I took to the couch at around 33 weeks as I just couldn't get comfy. Started off in bed and if I didn't go to sleep straight away - would move to the other room. The couch was good as I could lean into the back, keeping any weight off my bump and it was 'reasonally' comfy. ..... and of course if I really couldn't sleep - there was always something on telly to put me to sleep! Before that I tried all the tricks that people say with pillows in bed, but nothing worked.
