I'm terrified
I woke up this morning with a horrible discharge, to be honest I have had it on and off for a while, swaps were inconclusive, but this morning was disgusting. Any, I phoned the midwife to ask for a prescription for antibiotics and described the change to her. Suddenly I am now booked in to see her at 12.30 and from there we will head down to the Early Pregnancy Clinic to an emergancy scan. As I am getting closer and closer to the stage where we lost our beautiful Georgia, I am a nervous wreck anyway, this is just topped it off. I am here at work, everyone else is out of town and I am having a major freak out, I am so scared.......I can't go home, it will do my head in. My midwife told me not to worry, its just a precaution because of my history, but it doesnt stop me worrying.

Oh sweetheart .... how very destressing for you. Hang in their babe, it may not be anything to worry about and it sounds like you are in the best of hands.

((((Big Hugs)))) Sweet.
I don't know what to say, and I can understand that you would be terrified.
Try and keep calm sweetie, and know that I am thinking of you, and that I hope that everything goes well for you. It possibly is nothing to sinister, or something that can be sorted out with antibiotics - maybe a bladder infection or such?
Is DH going with you to this appt?
I'm of to swimming with Flynn right now, but will check in with you when I get back.
Take Care Hun
Yvonne

I have just spoken to Tracey on the phone and she has promised to let me know how she gets on at the clinic etc. At the moment she is just freaking out as you do, and is trying to organise a friend to go with her to the appointment, as her DH cant get away from work.
Tracey - Hang in there Hun and remember that we are all thinking of you and sending you all the sticky vibes that we can muster. Look forward to hearing your good news after your scan.

Oh hun, hang in there. I'm sure everything will be fine. These feelings are all completely normal and familiar to us all. Show me any pregnant woman who hasn't had a twinge or a cramp or a small bleed and not immediately jumped to the worst conclusion?
Good luck for your appointment and let us know how you go.

Panic over......well this one anyway lol .
Midwife checked my fundal height as soon as I got there, all on par. Went to listen to the heart rate, well panic really took hold when after about 4 minutes it was still nowhere to be found, she didnt look worried though, finally it was found, tucked all the way at the bottom! A huge wave of relief washed over me, I'll tell ya it was magical! My midwife pointed out that when I was pg with Georgia, I had slight vagininous something or other (excuse spelling!), I was put on antibiotics while I was in hospital. So apparently I am just getting the normal pg troubles, will start on antibiotics tomorrow morning. So no scan necessary at this stage as I am getting one next week anyway!!
everyone, thank you for your support. I do feel a bit silly at the over reaction, but I know you all understand!!
