Just a quick update from me. I'm now 10 weeks and feeling just as crap as I did 3 weeks ago ...... so that's all good I guess! Can't stop analysing every little niggle though but I guess that's normal. Have been getting a few twinges down in the groin area which I can only assume are the ligaments doing their thing and starting to loosen up.

We have our first MW appointment tomorrow and I'm really looking forward to that. Just to sit down and talk plan of action will be good. Off memory it will be too early to hear baby's heart on the doppler which is a shame.

So, all in all just hanging in there and wishing the next 2 weeks would come fast to get to the 2nd trimester and hopefully the end of the 'all day' sickness!

Good luck for your appointment tomorrow Tanya! Oooh I wish second trimester meant the end of feeling crappy, but I'm now in 2nd tri and feeling just as terrible as ever  Hope it goes for you though!!

Ah the stretching ligaments........I have felt them so much more with this pg, I think its because I am more aware of what is happening to my body. Can't wait for next update!!!

Had the MW visit today and all went well. We have talked through our plan of attack and feel very comfortable with how we are going to manage it. She doesn't see any reason why we can't get induced at around 38 weeks and we will involve an OB and PD to get them on board later down the track. We have our 12 week scan booked for 15/9 and plan to have further scans at 19, 28, 34 and 36 weeks. Bubs will be one photographed baby already by the time he/she arrives!

Other than that, not much else to report .... looking forward to that 12 week scan now.

Glad you had a good appointment Tanya, sounds like you are getting great care, which you so deserve, and I am pleased to hear.

Hope the sickness does settle down soon and the next few weeks till you next scan pass quickly.

We had our 12 week scan this monring and everything is looking good. It took ages though as bubs was in a difficult position so had to go for a bit of a walk to see if bubs would move. After that and being able to 'thankfully' empty my bladder - we got some great views. The NT measurements all look normal and at one point bubs looked to be waving at us!

Got a couple of good photos printed off - a nice side profile of bubs and then a good close up profile of bub's head. Will scan them later and post.

Feel very very relieved. I was so nervous at the start of it all - but we saw the heart beating away and bubs wriggling around like a mad thing!

We look Caitlyn too, so that was nice for her to see it all.
