wow who can believe its only 8 days until i am holding my little boy....i am booked in for an elective on the 3rd June, and i cant wait

had my last scan today, he is about 6lbs and doing nicely....so all is good

wow 2 days to go, we are so excited....im trying to rest up, but there is so much i want to do...so as a comprimise...im taking miss 3 to mums shortly....going to borrow her bath and have a soak...and dh is staying home and doing some housework...lol

Hey girls, thanks for the well wishes.

I had Cory via csection as planned, even though i went into labour on the night before and my waters broke, but nothing came of the contractions, but because i was not stressed and baby wasnt stressed so we bascially just slept overnight and wandered down to the operating room the next morning and amongst lots of joking etc Cory Alec Bowman was born (we were told he was goin to be at least 3kgs...boy how wrong they were).

Rhiannon was 2.4kgs born and Cory was 2.49kgs born so i seem to have them small.

Cory lost 290gms within 48 hours so we are now supplementing his feeds he is doing really well on breast and bottefeeding (i couldnt breastfeed rhiannon, so this is all new for me.)

Midwife came today and in 3 days he has put on 140gms and she said he just looks so contented, he is the dream baby eats and sleeps on a 4 hour cycle, and we do one exclusive bottle feed a night (so that way i can get some sleep and Kent can bond with him).

I am pleased to be home and Rhiannon loves her little brother, she just dotes on him.

i cant believe that Cory is now a month old...where has the time gone...hes a good baby, for the most part eats and sleeps on a 3-4 hour cycle and a bit longer at night.

We tend to have one unsettled period which is about 10pm and we have at least one day a week, where he refuses to go to sleep at all in the afternoon so will be awake from 1pm-10pm and as long as he is with someone he is just happy to lie there, but as soon as we leave he screams the house down

all in all hes a joy and Rhiannon loves him to bits
