XMAS SUPRISE!!!!
Hi Ladies, I am finally joining this thread I know it is very early days for us, but a positive is a positive and after all of the support and Baby Dust you guys have been sending, I felt that I would burst if I didn't tell you. We are due sometime in early August. I'm seeing my OB on Thursday to do bloods ect and should have an early scan in about 3weeks time. I will also be visiting Diabetic Clinic throughout this pg. We are very excited, and on cloud 9, but a bit scared too.

Re: XMAS SUPRISE!!!!
Hi Guys, Thanks sooo much for all of your well wishes. Its so nice to know that you are all here as it is and will be a mighty scarey trip this time round. Its taken 9mths to conceive this lil miracle and I know this because we seriously started trying about the same time Carley got her BFP and shes having her sweet lil one tomorrow I started a new job two weeks ago - I must have conceived the weekend before I started...lol I'm sure they probably won't see the funny side of it. They say a change is as good as a holiday...lol

Re: XMAS SUPRISE!!!!
Hehehehe same thing happened to me, i started my job and found out 4 weeks later that i was pregnant. They were ok about it they just trying to work out how i can qualify for the maternity leave under the 6 months clause. But hey people get excited when a baby is on the way so am sure they will be supportive Dont worry there is now 3 of us due at my work and only 10 staff it will be a very quiet june when we are all on maternity leave. Congrats again.

Re: XMAS SUPRISE!!!!
Hi Guys, Well I was in bed pretty much all day yesterday with a gastro bug!!!!! I am still feeling pretty off today I was freaking out a bit about how this would effect mu Pregnancy so had a look on line, and apparently it is unlikely to cause any problems. I suppose only time will tell. I did wonder yesterday if it was Morning Sickness, as I have not suffered with it in my other pregnancies, but I am pretty sure it is not. Has anybody on here suffered from Gastro bugs while pregnant? If so have you got any advice.

Re: XMAS SUPRISE!!!!
Oh Hun, how horrible. Sorry cant be of any help here, all I had to deal with was a DH and a DS who got it but I never experienced it myself. Hope that it passes soon, and your feel better.

Re: XMAS SUPRISE!!!!
Hi Yvonne
I remember having quite an upset tummy/ gastro type symptoms in early pregnancy and being quite worried too. I'm not sure if it's related to pregnancy or just a coincidence - but I looked online too and saw that it shouldn't have a any affect on the baby - just make sure you keep your fluids up if you are 'going' at that end at bit!!!
Take care of yourself ..... I hope it passes soon!

Re: XMAS SUPRISE!!!!
keep your fluids up. If your not keeping your fluids down go to hospital and be put on a drip...i had this and felt heaps better after given fluids.
Hope your feeling better
