Leonies updates :)
Hi ladies. Im just so excited so I had to post....I had a scan today and all seems to be going well, could see the heart beating real clearly about 166bpm so thats good. Im so relieved to have this scan behind me. Almost going on 1 year ago, I remember that last scan I had when they showed me that there was no heartbeat, so it feels good finally getting to see it now. Im now apparently 7 weeks +6. Still doesnt feel real!

Re: Leonies updates :)
Hi Ladies,
I had my 12 week scan today, pleased to report that everythings looking good at the moment. Got to see some wriggling and they gave us a cd of photos. But I have to admit, it all just looks a bit blurry to me. Hopefully Ill get to see a specialist in a couple of weeks. For now Im just so happy that everythings looking good!

awww Hello little Bubba Now you listen to your Aunty Carley and be a good boy/girl for your Mummy and Daddy and settle in there nice and comfy. You still have a while to go until we want to meet you. Leonie, I am so pleased that your scan went well, are you going to find out the sex of the baby? Look forward to reading more of your updates and I will get intouch with you about next week.

Re: Leonies updates :)
Today I had an appt with my midwife and Im pleased to say that we managed to find the heartbeat and have a listen!! It was a nerve racking 5 mins or so trying to find it, but yay!! I was so relieved when we did. Am booked in to see a specialist in April, and have also booked a scan for then aswell. Did everyone else have to have their "20 wk" scan at 18 weeks? Im a bit worried that they might stress me out by saying that thet cant see the organs

Re: Leonies updates :)
aww Leonie that is soo cool that you got to hear the heartbeat, dontcha love that lil thumpity thump? I wouldnt worry too much about the scan being done at 18 wks, they are probably just being over precautious, and hey look at it this way...you get to see bubs sooner.!! I will text you tomorrow night for our catch up on Friday. Oohhh I will be able to do the ring test on you...let me put it this way, the only time I was wrong was when I did it on someone and I didnt know I was pregnant, with Julia, and it picked up on me having her and not what the other lady was carrying, anyway I'm rattling on here, the moral of the story is is that everytime I have done it I have been right!!!

Re: Leonies updates :)
Leonie that is great news! Don't worry about having the scan early. I had so many scans with Shawna that I need to get a scrap book just for them! I am sure they won't stress you out about the organs, just tell them if you get nervous and ask questions, I asked heaps, I think I drove the ladies up the wall but hey, its your baby!!
