Re: Yvonne's Pregnancy Updates
Oh, that is great news about the Down’s results Yvonne. It must be a huge weight off your mind. Hope you get your insulin levels sorted out soon. All the best for your next scan, looking forward to seeing some pics after that.
Angela.

Re: Yvonne's Pregnancy Updates
Hi Ladies, Well we have some developments! I had my anatomy scan today and all was good. As soon as the sonographer put the thing on, all I could see was lots of movement, which is exactly what I needed to see, as I had been seriously stressing to this point! Everything is perfect, it seems, with our little............ YES GIRL!!!!Funny thing was that I thought I had seen a willy amongst the scan, and asked at the end whether he (the sonographer) had seen the sex, and he said GIRL, I almost pee'd my pants!!!! I was so ready for him to say boy! I am seriously sucky at picking the sex in scans, but DH reackoned he had seen the girly bits When the sonographer showed me in detail it made sense I also had a doppler scan on my placenta, and it was perfect which has made me feel so much better! I will post a scan pic, and belly shot soon - I just need to find & reload my scanning software as it does not seem to be working properly at the moment.

Re: Yvonne's Pregnancy Updates
Oh WOW another girl ..... congratulations!
There are so many girl babies at the moment - my next door neighbour had a girl a few days before us, as did one of my old work colleagues who lives nearby! We are definitely going through a pink phase !
Great to hear that everything is looking well. I know what you mean about feeling so anxious before scans - I was the same for each one of mine.
Take care and look forward to more updates.

Re: Yvonne's Pregnancy Updates
Hi Yvonne, this is Leigh (Donna's Daughter). Congratulations on your pregnancy, just saw that you are expecting another girl- thats fantastic news. I randomly came across this site via the candle room as I wanted to light a candle for our baby we recently lost at 8 weeks gestation (baby heartbeat stopped begining of march and we found out a few days later at our dating scan, I didnt miscarry naturally and had to have a ERPOC (D&C) procedure done last week, a week ago today actually). I saw Satoris candle in the candle room and then I saw your user name in the forum here and discovered you, small world huh? This site is amazing, my heart goes out to all the mothers who have lost a wee one too soon..this site has helped validate my loss just by the simple act of lighting a candle and reading everyones stories. Satoris picute under your user name is beautiful, she looks like shes sleeping. Anyway hun, keep in touch- I'll be floating around this forum, might have to check out the miscarrage discussion and TTC again! Take Care xoxoxo.

Re: Yvonne's Pregnancy Updates
Well Ladies, its probably time for an update!!!! I had a growth scan earlier in the week, and all is well at this stage, so that is comforting to know. I haven't really updated alot, i know, but its all about getting through everyday, and trying to stay positive is an all consuming task at times. I have been monitoring myself for Diabetes throughout and am on small amounts of insulin, at the moment, as it is creeping in - hopefully it doesn't increase over the next 9wks I have tentatively booked the 4th Aug for a C-Section, so assumng the hospital have a time available, that is when it should all happen. i will probably have another growth/doppler scan at 32wks & 36wks. the scans are great, but the freyed nerves beforehand - not so much! Anyway here are some 4D pics from my last scan Hope this works
