Fantastic stuff Yvonne... It's been a long time since I have been on this site, wee baby boy keeps me pretty busy. I think about you all the time and how things are going, I am so pleased to hear that all is going well and those scans are just gorgeous... just gorgeous.... Keep positive, all is going to be just fantastic!!! Keep the faith.

Re: Yvonne's Pregnancy Updates
Hi ladies, Thanks for all of your lovely comments on the scan pics - I have more from 32wks, however my scanner is playing up, so I will post them another time She has changed slightly - her face is chubbier, she apparently has a big head (lots of brains) long limbs, and an average size tummy (which is goodwhen you have GD). Sara, good to hear from you, and it has been a while - good to hear your little man is keeping ou busy - they tend to do that Well my big boy has been keeping me busy - he had his tonsils out nearly 3wks ago, so I had him home for 2wks recovering from that , which was challenging, and then no sooner had he gone back to daycare (for half a day) then found out they have a chicken Pox outbreak. I checked him out and found some spots on him that night I didn't know whether I had had them or not, so had to have a test or immunity, which takes 2-3 days for the results, by which stage he was covered in spots and it would have been too late for me to stay away anyway!!!!! as I would have already been infected, which is not good in late pg. Anyway it turns out that I have immunity, which is great, but it was very stressful, being that I goggled and it said that in some cases it can cause stillbirth late in pg Of course that is the last thing I needed to read!!! Anyway I saw the specialist on Thursday and he booked my c-section for 4th Aug, and I have another growth scan this Thursday. Apart from that I am hoping to get some sleep some time soon as we have been up most nights, at least once, with pain meds, itching relief for the little guy He seems to be more comfortable today, so hoping tonight might be the night! Anyway, Nana has just turned up for a visit, so I had better go. I will update after scan. i hope you are all well.

Re: Yvonne's Pregnancy Updates
Hi Guys, I'm still in one piece and still booked for 4th Aug - Next Tuesday!!!! Everything seems to be going well, although my specialist is away for the weekend, so I hope I don't go into labour or anything! I seriously thought she was trying to bust a move today, but she calmed down again The last 2 scans showed that she was trucking along at 45 percentile, so thats all good, and I have been on the monitor a bit, just for piece of mind, and they have been all good too I will txt Carley and Manda (as i have their numbers) when baby arrives. I hope you are all well Take Care

Re: Yvonne's Pregnancy Updates
Not long to go now!!!! Although not without a few bumps along the road!!!! DS is sick, DH is getting it as well as a few good friends, so it looks like visitors are going to be a bit thin on the ground. Dh has a runny nose and felling heady, which means they may let him mask up and come into theatre, but not in to post-op or the ward (diabetic) I will be going into Mum seems alright so she can probably do the post-op duty, but its a bit of a bummer. i hope DH feels recovered tomorrow.

Sorry to hear Flynn and DH (neil) are sick...Im sure your Mum will have it all under control though. Im a bit miffed im not in Auckland and can't just pop in to see you and the wee princess. Well, big hugs from me to you and your family- try to get some shut-eye before the big event - although some how I doubt it. LOTS OF LOVE Leigh 15 weeks 3days pregnant...nearly four months. 25weeks to go, and looking forward to every single day of it

Re: Yvonne's Pregnancy Updates
Hi Guys, Well this is my fourth attempt to post - hopefully I won't lose it this time. I think I will try and send pictures another time as everytime I do it I lose the entire post! Anyway, we arrived home yesterday, with our gorgeous girl, Sophie Nicole Tori Pollington, who is just delightful She is settling in well and was weighed yesterday and has gained 300gms, so is now a whopping 6pd/14oz Her big brother is very happy with her, especially since she bought him a Ben10 Alien Chamber, which went down well. She is doing well although is following the same pattern as she did inside of me, where she sleeps all day and is awake from 5pm to 11pm. She refuses to be put down in her bassinet, as she will only sleep at night with Mummy - something we will have to work on! The plus side to this is that she has slept from 11pm to 5am for the last two nights. Unfortunately I have not slept so well with her being in the bed! Anyway, I am sure we will get it sorted Thanks for all of your well wishes and I will try and post some photo's soon. i may need to downsize them.
