Hi everyone
Sorry I haven't had a chance to get on here until now. Thank you for all the lovely postings welcoming little Taylor. We are of course totally besotted with our new little girl who made an appearance at 5:48am on Sunday, 15 March 2009.

We were booked for induction on the Monday, but Taylor just couldn't wait. I started to get some niggles around 1am on Sunday morning and after monitoring them myself for around 45 minutes, called the nurse around 2am who put the monitor on me. The contractions started to come a bit more regularly then and I made a quick call to DH at 2:40am. Expecting a very rapid labour as with Liam and Caitlyn, DH and my Mum broke all the traffic laws in history to drive the 15 minutes to the hospital. They needn't have rushed as it then took another couple of hours for things to really reeve up. My MW broke my waters and after a very painful 'poke around' it was ALL on!

The cry that Taylor gave as she was born was music to our ears and it was such a relief to hear that she was well and healthy!

Things have been a bit of a blurr over the last few days and Taylor has slept a lot during the day and not much at night! A visit with the MW today has given us an action plan for managing that now, so hopefully we will be able to turn that around soon.

The feeding is going really well. In fact Taylor latched on within 30 minutes of being born!

She is beautiful!!!! ooohhh I dont know what else to say!! I'm all gooey!!!

Oh man I am in tears here, she is absoultely beautiful, and the look on your face in the first photos is soo gorgeous, absloultely beautiful.

I don't quite know what happened to my early post, but just came back in to have another cluck at Taylor's photo, and realised that my post was not there!!!! I probably cme out of TLO before hitting submit or such I tell you, I'm very good at doing half baked things at the moment.

Anyway chicky, Taylor is gorgeous, and you look fantastic, and the shot of Taylor and Caitlyn together just melts my heart I can't wait to be able to take that kind of shot myself!

I hope you are all well, and getting lots of rest, and I cannot wait to hear more updates on how it is all going Oh and more pics!!!

Thanks everyone. Things are going pretty well - although still trying to sort out the nights. Taylor is SUCH a night owl and although we are keeping her up for long periods during the day and evening, she just wants to party when the lights go out!

She is extremely alert and loves laying on her change table looking around. She is particularly fond of a black and white book we were given at the library and will look at the pages for ages.

We have already taken over 200 photos - so here are a couple more to cluck over!
