Hi everyone...had my anatomy scan Yesterday and baby looked good but they noticed there is fluid in its Kidneys A bit of googling later and this can be something minor or one medical site mentioned the lungs not developing and kindeys being so damaged that baby can be lost
i knew i shouldnt have googled but i couldnt help it. Am feeling pretty down/stressed about it.. just wanted to know everything was ok so i could start to relax more.

If anyone had heard of this and has encouraging stories id love to know. (Good stories only please i cant take any more worry) Im trying to stay positive and just hope its not too bad and baby will be fine.

Oh and Ceahns just got chicken pox so even thou im pretty sure im immune it stil has me a little worried.

Huge hugs to you Debs, I cant be of any help on the kidney front, but as far as the chicken pox are concerned, DS had them when I was pg with Jess, and Mum and I couldnt for the life of us remember if I had had them or not, so I had a blood test that came back inconclusive so had to have the immunoglobin booster, just in case. If you are unsure if you are immune or not get a blood test and find out.

With Julia, when we found out about the anti K, I was a googling expert and always found out about the worst case senarios, not a good thing to do, then with Jess when the antibodies showed up again, I had to put my trust in the Drs that they would see me and bubs right and do the best for us. It was hard to not get worried and stressed, but found that it was the only way to do it.

Remember we are all here for you, as we all know that subsequent pregnancies are a stressful time.

Thanks for your messages i thought its time i posted an update. Im 24weeks tommorow!!! And i didnt get chicken pox!!!
I thought i'd feel so much better once i made it to 24 weeks but im stil just as nervous. Can't stop thinking about baby, very excited and waiting to buy stuff to help pass the time (naughty naughty!!) think i have the nesting instinct real bad!! But also pretty nervous about the labour part...its hard to have any faith in your body to do the right thing. Ceahn got distressed through my labour and needed resuss when she was born...im not worried about the pain I just want to get this boy out safely! I've gotta somehow get mentally strong that i can do this.
Going for a scan to check on Kidneys in just over a week, stil dont know much about it so hopefully its cleared up anyway
Had a scare after christmas when we were up in hastings over christmas saw a little blood and freaked!! Had to go into hospital to get checked out but thankfully it was nothing. Even had one of the same dr.s i had with Ezra and I was the same gest!! She was very understanding thou and made an effort to reassure me all was ok.
The other Big news is this little baby is a BOY!

Im glad the bleeding turned out to be fine and I'm sure the kidneys will be all good too!

Had my follow up scan to check on kidneys today and they are within the normal range now!!!

Quick update...ive got 32 days to go!! Am very excited and cant wait to meet this little boy. I defenatly have my anxious days but feeling more confident as i get closer. Went to check out the hospital here and had a bit of a freak out but just got to focus on getting through it i guess.

Wow this pregnancy has gone quickly! Only 32 days to go. The time will pass quickly I am sure and in no time you'll be holding your new son! Yay

Oh my gosh, it's been so quiet on here, I just about forgot you were pregnant! Can't wait to hear all about his arrival!!!!!
