Quietly going mad
Well, we bought a home doppler but all I seem to hear is static. I've managed to find the heartbeat once but now every time I turn on the machine there's static, or the silence doesn't last long enough for me to find the heartbeat. Theres not really a point to this post, just a wee vent. I'm too afraid to go to my midwife because I've convinced myself that if I go she won't be able to find it either. Arrrgggghhhhhh.

Oh Amanda, don't beat yourself up about it, it is still very early. My obst couldn't find Olivias hb till she was 13 weeks. You may have just been hearing your own hb when you managed to pick something up. I know it is hard to relax, but please try and not be hard on yourself. Roll on the next 30 weeks, when you will have bubba Jellybean in your arms.
Take care

Hugs Manda
It must be so hard not to use a doppler, my midwife said that she wouldn't advise me to use one at home the next time because she knows i will go nuts if i can't hear anything, but i know that i will get one anyway, i don't care what they say, i will be going nuts anyway.
Try not to worry darling it is still very early.
Love and Hugs
Nikki x

Manda,
Hang in there. I bet it is just too early for picking up the hb right now everytime. As she gets bigger it will be easier I am sure.
