da dum da dum da dum da dum
Jus thought I'd update on the doppler situation (i.e. the stupid thing not working). Well I stressed out so much I ended up going to my midwife, she immediatly found the heartbeat, loud and strong, music to my ears. We also went to the parent and child show this weekend. As soon as I walked through the door I asked myself what the *&%$ I thought I was doing, was I crazy for thinking I could go to something like that and not be affected? I braved through it, not really finding much I didn't already know (probably because I really wasn't looking much), and getting free newborn nappies given to me left right and centre, not like I don't already have enough to last, but I didn't have the guts to say why I didn't need anymore. Anyway, the people that sold us the home doppler had a stand there so I told them the probs I was having with all the static and they said it wasn't normal and exchanged it with a new one. I have sinced picked up JJ's heartbeat everytime I've used it, hip horrah, hence the title of this post, da dum da dum da dum da dum............thanks for reading my little bleat.

Oh Manda, I am so glad you got the doppler sorted out. I went to the P&C show on Friday. Last time I went I was 8 months pregnant with Ashley, so hence me not going last year pregnant with Olivia, didn't want to tempt fate. Strange the things we don't do ahy......

I'm so pleased for you Manda, that's great news. I'd also been thinking about you and wondering how the doppler was going. Alana
