Telly - How exciting that your scan is next week - Best of luck

Hope the ms just keeps improving for you. I know mine is so much better now but still rears it's ugly head occasionally.

Take care :)

Thank you Alana - I made it myself.

I'm feeling really positive about the scan, I know things are going well, and it just feels right.

I might not be able to pop on and let you know how it all went because my little brother arrives from Auckland on Wednesday, so probably won't be until next weekend.

MS is getting better - I swear by this ELEVIT stuff I'm telling you.

I've still got frequent headaches, but I think that's the constant waking to Cam who's having night terrors at the moment.

Thanks All

Hi Ladies!

I have a few minutes while Cameron is in the bath.

Went to the scan today - arrived all calm until I sat on the table - but as soon as she put the thing on my tummy, the first thing I saw was my hunny's beating heart.

Everything is alright with the scan, nuchal fold is ok, baby developing well and am a week further along than previously thought. Have some printed out pictures, but we couldn't get any good ones because baby was on his/her tummy and was pretty determined not to move, just wanted to kick around and wave his/her arms! In one of the pictures it looks like its doing the fingers.

They are supposed to be sending me a picture through e-mail, so when I get it I'll post it. The printed ones aren't any good to take photo's of, and we have no scanner.

Just thought I'd let you all know.

Telly

Am feeling the strain with not having any sleep, its particularly hard on the body.

Baby is about 7.5cm - so is long - but I am already rather pregnant and ROUND looking, so quite proud of that.

Anyway, they finally sent the picture. It isn't a very good one of the baby, she likes to be on her tummy and was being a pain at the time, he he!

Sorry its big, but can't be bothered re-sizing it and have too many people coming in and out of here for the next cople of weeks. Here it is:

Am feeling a lot better than I did before. Except now I just have killer headaches, and it really sucks. I think its fromthe lack of sleep and dehydration, and I'm pretty reluctant to take anything for it - but when it gets bad enough, I eventually do. My tummy has been sore of late, but I am thinking that is because of the stretching - and usually is sore when I am gassy.

Midwife rung me last night and get to go in for my booking appointment. Midwives don't usually book you in until after the 12 week mark, so am really glad we have glided past that without any problems, will be 15 weeks tomorrow.

Went out with my mother last Wednesday and brought maternity clothes. Even though I have lost about five or six kilos, I have a rather solid bump that no longer fits my usual clothes, so yeah - had to go out and buy some more maternity clothes. I haven't dragged out the ones I wore for Cameron yet, have to get Mike to reach them for me seeing as I am only a short ass!

Anyway, apart from that, things are still going rather well. I knew in my heart that this pregnancy was different from last time - and I'll just keep on thinking positive! Roll on October!

Midwife booked me in today - which was exciting. She gave me a cool book for all my pregnancy stuff (which is a million times better than the crap I got in Auckland) so will be nice to keep.

Everythings going well, and she's pretty pleased with how things are, apart from my migranes, throwing up and lack of sleep.

We heard baby's heartbeat, was abou 155-160 BPM - so that was cool. Kept kicking, and moving, little toad. I bet its a girl!

Felt my first movements over the weekend - and feel the baby move now at night, or if I've been sitting too long, so that's pretty cool. Cameron was a night-time kicker too!

Got a form to do some bloods, and to to go for the anatomy and abnormality scan, so will book that for two weeks time. Has to be done between 18-20 weeks, so will book that next week.

Can't think of much more to update on at the moment, will do if I can think of anything.

Well, I booked my anatomy scan today. Midwife said they have to be done between 18-20, so though I better get onto it before I missed out.

We have decided that we are going to find out what we are having (pending baby lets us of course) but we are going to keep it to ourselves until baby is born.

We are looking at names at the moment, and have two boys names we like, and heaps of girls. With Cameron, we already had his name picked out before the scan! Well, his and a girls name. We aren't sure about definate names yet, I'm sure Mike's just holding out until we know for sure, lol.

I started an online pregnancy diary the other day, just made it part of my journal I used when I miscarried.

Things have gone well this past week, just getting sore hips and and a stretching tummy!

Looking quite forward to my scan tomorrow. I will be going on my own as Cameron is toilet training, and is being a pain in the bum. I also need to do some bloods as well, so will be doing it then as well. We will be finding out what the baby is, just will be a surprise to everyone else. Will be getting the CD this time too, how things have changed in even THREE years!

Thanks! At least when we know what it is, we can call it by its name rather than IT or BUBS or BABY, he he.

Here's a 19 Week Picture:

Scan went well, everything looks good. First thing I saw when she put the thing on my belly was my little monsters heartbeat, he he, so neat. Other than that, we saw heaps of the baby, was actually co-operating. Everything's developing well, and has all the right bits in the right places. Am getting the CD sent out with the images on, so will post some when I get it, which will most likely be Friday. Baby was co-operative and let us have a look at what it was, whuch was cool. Lets see how long I can hold my tounge, lol. Will post pictures when I can.
