Yesterday I was sitting in my office and a coworker came in to see me. She lost her first baby (stillbirth at term) years ago and then went on the have two more babies that are now teenagers. I didn't know this had happened to her until I lost Nicole and she wrote me a note about how she knew what I was going through etc if I needed someone to talk to. Anyway, yesterday she came to me with a little box and inside was a medal of St. Gerad, the Patron Saint of Motherhood. Her mother had given her the medal when she lost her baby and then she wore it around her neck through her subsequent pregnancies (both difficult ones). She said she could feel the protection, like someone was there. She had thought she had lost it, but then found it in her jewelery box a few months ago and knew she had to give it to me when the time was right. I guess that was when I was pg again! I was so touched. How thoughtful. I bawled. I am wearing it now and hopefully St. Gerad will watch over me and our new little guy. Jenn |

Wot a beautiful thought and lady for giving you such a nice thought out gift for your pregnancy! Sounds like such a lovely lady...and her mum too for giving it to her! enjoy your new pendant and I am sure you are well protected with all our angels watching over you |
