 Hooray we finally have a date! The gremlins are going to be induced on Sat 14 Oct. I am sooooo relieved now that I actually know what is going on!
I can't say enough how much I love my midwife - she was supposed to be going away that weekend, but has changed her entire plan so that she will be here for me. That is sooooo beyond the call of duty!
I will probably be admitted Fri night, and then they'll get things started on Sat morning.
That is of course assuming that the gremlins don't decide to make an earlier appearance, although given that Sienna has been engaged for 3 weeks and I have been having contractions for nearly a month with no signs of labour, it seems they are pretty happy in there.
Scan tomorrow to check the placenta and see how fat they have gotten!

Yay Emma!!!! That is my birthday!!! What a fantastic day for your little darlings to arrive. I know you most likely want them here sooner, but I will be hoping they stay put and arrive on the 14th

Just as well we have a date - the scan today is estimating Mercedes is 3.17kg (7lb) already! Sienna is a lil smaller at 2.6kg (5lb12oz) but still a good weight for 36 weeks.

Great weights Emma. Can't wait to see your girls, I'm so excited, I can't remember knowing anyone whos had twins before, I'm sure it's not a patch on how your feeling though.

I'm excited but nervous and scared at the same time. I just really want to fast forward to next week and have them here safe and sound. I'm more nervous about the delivery, I'm worried that they will get distressed and I will end up with an emergency c-sct. Not that I am anti having a c-sect, just that I don't want to put my babies thru the stress of labour if it's not going to work out. But my OB and m/w both think that having delivered my fat Maya vaginally I should be fine.
I'm nervous about the induction thing too having never been induced before, but I know there is a thread here about induction somewhere so I might go look for it.
