OMG I'm pregnant!!
Today is the 17th and it's never a good day for me cos I've been getting my period every 17th since Chloé.
But this morning, I decided I had enough of not knowing and eventhough I'm only on CD 32, sore boobs, frequent trips to the loo and dizziness and total lack of spotting but increase discharge made me grab my Clear Blue when I went to the loo after waking up.
A faint second line appeared. I went straight to DH and showed him.
I'm freaking out and cried and shook and went hyper there for a while...

Fantastic news Lauriel, I hope that your pregnancy goes really well. Feel free to vent here if you need to, we all know how stressful a subsequent pregnancy can be.

I did another test on Saturday 27th, so 10 days after the first ones and got a strong line. DH was happy.
I need to ring the MW cos she's not answering my texts.
I went back to the nutritionist yesterday and it turns out I've lost 1.6kgs in the past 2 weeks. I tend to lose weight at the beg of my pregs or could be the walking and watching what I eat that did it.

That is good news that the second test came back stronger.
Maybe the weight loss is due to the fact that you are now pregnant and had to do a work out in order to get that way
Or are you suffering from any nausea?
Anyhoo, good news keep us inform of how things are going.
Carley

Hello!! Lynne helped me get back in. The line at the top said the last time I visited was on Jan 31..
All going well, I had my scan on 19 March, the lady checked the Nuchal Fold, feeling fine, then she asked about who in our family had spina bifida, told her, then she checked the spine and I was this close to bawling with stress and Eloise was rubbing my leg saying "it's ok mummy, it's ok mummy"..
ALL IS FINE!!! She couldn't get a proper pic of the legs cos they were moving too much..
Apparently it's a but TBC at the 18 week scan.
Saw the MW Friday last week and we tried to hear the HB but JBB (JellyBeanBaby) was moving too much and staying out of the way.

I was freaking out last week, having dreams, well nightmares, of my waters breaking... Didn't really get to see the heart beat at the scan and didn't hear much with MW and that didn't help my stress levels..
So Tuesday last week I went to the hosp to be checked out. Cos I only had ONE MW visit on 14 Feb and my MW is on hols, and her back up never rang me... I was almost in tears on the drive there...
Got to hear the heartbeat, she checked the fundal height (which was 3 weeks ahead of the size of my baby - baby @ 16w5d and fundus @ 320 weeks on 10 April)... Anmd she moved my dates a whole week ahead and so moved my EDD a whole week back.. Whatever!!
The referral to Wellington was sent the day after I went to the hospital and then I got a scan appt letter for Wanganui. So went back to hosp yesterday to try and clarify the sitch. No one knows. but I got to hear JBB's heartbeat again...
What is the normal frequency of MW visits? Is it usual not to be seen for 2 months??? (I was 8 weeks at the first visit) Shouldn't I be monitored more closely? Not that they could do anything anyway...

Finally back in, from DH's laptop, my PC won't let me access PHP forums for some reason.
I had my scan Friday last week, DH was at work and couldn't find 30 mins to come along I was so stressed and scared that I cried all the way to the hospital (6 minute drive)... The MW came with me, which was really nice of her. But she's really nice anyway!
It's definitely a boy!!! Extra wriggly with everything where it's supposed to be and everything is fine. I can finally breathe!! I got the scan on my video I'd brought with me and also a dvd..
Now we have to buy a new frieze for the baby's room, cos the one that's on the green painted wall is pink teddies.. And we'll have to stop calling Chloé's room soon.. but that can wait..
Feeling kicks, loving it and thinking about Chloé everyday still.
It's probably a good thing it's a boy or so I'm told!
