Yay i finally feel like a mummy

my firstborn son Logan was stillborn at 39 weeks 4 days on 2nd August 2005

now i am the proudest mummy to my beautiful lil guy Toby Jacob
born 11th December 2006 at 38weeks via induction and only having a 1 hour 35 minute labour including 7 minutes pushing!

he weighed in at 6lb 13oz was very tiny but now is huge at 5months old

i am soooo man words can't even describe it i am still on cloud nine 5 months down the track even with the sleep deprivation of the first 8 weeks!

With the heartbreak still fresh in my mind of Logans birth giving birth this time round was extremely hard my specialist reassured me by scanning me and telling me toby didn't have the cord round his neck he was you guessed it born with the cord round his neck and needed oxygen for a while after birth needless to say sent me into a panic i didn't get to hold him till he was 20 minutes old! i love my lil guy so much and i know his big bro logan comes and plays with him all the time! it has made me think alot about how much we are missing out on them never seeing them grow and change i always wonder how much my boys would look a like now Logan and Toby were pretty much identical at birth except Logan had more hair! well i really just wanted to welcome my new lil fella in here and introduce him to you all too!

Just wanted to say That I think of Logie heaps and of Big Toby and when I will next get to have huggles??
And just so everyone knows,If it was Not for this lovely lady I would have gone stir mad and probably would be in Hosp, Mara has been my wall even in her own sorrow. Love ya babe.

awwww lisa you sure no how to make a girl cry i tell ya i am so glad i met Lisa we have been through some bloody tragic times and it was only through tragedy we met but everyday i am thankful to this woman for not thinking i was crazy or anything and being there as my shoulder to cry on you are truely a very remarkable woman who i will forever be grateful too! What a gorgeous wee fella you have there. Love his cute smile. Well done on a wonderful job. Big bro must be so proud of you both.

It is so good to hear that you and LIsa have had each other for support, so many times woman go through grief all alone, you are both truly blessed to have each other.
