First Hugs and congrates even thought it may not be what you want to hear right now.
Yes I have been there twice with not being prepared for it.
First was very shortly after Eden was born (there is 8 months between Eden and Laine put it that way) and very very much so this time round. I am 20 weeks tomorrow and to be honest I am still not that pleased with being pregnant.
To start with I was gutted and wished that it wasn't the case, But it is and I have started to deal with that (which is just aswell for us cause our bubbas like to be early).
Sadly it may not be the ideal way of it happening but start the folic acid now and time will tell. And if all is good you have about 9 months to get use to the idea of a new bub around.
Good luck by the way.

Hugs Charmaine, I know you may not want to hear this but congrats to you.
As Lisa said, start the folic acid now and I'm sure that if you are going to be under specialist care they will monitor you very closely given your history.
Remember we are here if you need to chat at any time
hugs hun

Charmaine, don't worry too much about the folic acid. I was on 5mg with Chloé and it didn't help at all. I got back on the 5mg when I got back in September last year.
Re the bleeding, ring a MW!!

Charmaine, I'm so sorry to hear this - I guess nothing we can say is going to ease the pain for us. Like the others have said, we are here for you so rant away. I can understand how hard it might be to be happy for your sister right now, I hope she can understand how you feel. Do you have some supportive friends or family closeby?
