Weekend Plans?
What does everyone have planned this weekend? I'm hoping to get out to one of the local cemeteries and check up on babyland. I always visit the graves and make sure everything is set up ok and their decorations are good.
We might go visit Calypso's Garden too. But other then that we don't have anything planned

Melissa - that's a really lovely idea bout the cranes.
We will be helping some friends move house this weekend (well DH is - I will be trying to keep the kids amused!). Hope to go on a bike ride on Sunday if the weather is good. Went for the first time last weekend and Caitlyn loved it on the back of DH's bike.
Carley - good luck with the BDing!!

Aww that is so Lovely,
Well today I went to my Oncoligist appointment and all is looking good for treatment next week, So that means this weekend I have to have bloods done...again.
I am going to try to make it over to a conference on NICU and Hospital playroom specialists as I had to do a dvd presentation for it.
We were gifted some tickets (from the cancer society) to Snow white and the seven dwarfs as well for this Saturday so we will take the kids to that.
Meant to be catching up with friends but we will see. Me really I just want rest!!!

We unfortunately have a funeral to go to on Saturday. One of DH's friends mothers passed away.
On Sunday I think we will probably be stripping paint, as we are making a start on the outside of our renovating project. Fun, fun, fun As they say Rome wasn't built in a day

Scrapbooking
Hi Lynne
How is the scrapbooking going? Glad to find another scrapbooker on here - it certainly keeps me busy when I have those 'rare' quiet occasions. My mission is to get Caitlyn's scrapbook up to date (I am still back in September!) before I go back to work at the end of April and then I will hopefully have the courage to start Liam's one.
Hope you manage to get some done this weekend.

Well I have got my wool (now have two things to knit as my friend wants me to knit her a jersey ).
Tanya - I do digital scrapbooking. It is all done on the computer so I dont have any of the little bits and bobs lying around here is a link to my online gallery. Most of these I print out on photo paper and put into a album.

Carley - your layouts look great. I've often thought about getting into digital scrapping - mostly to save the fortune of all the things I buy! What software do you use? Do you print them out in A4 size?

Hey Tanya, the programme I use is called Microsoft Digital Image Pro. It cost about $200 from memory but it has paid for itself over and over. A friend of mine got me into digi scrapping. I just signed up here http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/ and there is a gallery with heaps of freebies in it that you can download, plus there is a store as well, but that can get pretty expensive (trust me I know!). It is heaps of fun and the best part is is that it is tidy!!
For LO's for Bayden's album I print them out in 12X12 size as that is the size of his album. But it just depends what size you do them on the original. I must say though that if you do decide to do digi scrapping, it pays that once you have downloaded the kits that you burn them onto discs as they take up HEAPS of room on your computer hard drive I now have about 10 discs with digi scrapping stuff on them and still have more to do

Thanks for the Carley - you must have a big printer to be able to print 12x12's!! A friend of mine is looking into buying one so she can do some digital scrapping as well and would be interested to know what sort you have.

sorry just had another look and I print out at 8X8
Our printer is a brother MFC - 240C. When I first started out printing the LO's out I did them on normal paper and it didnt have the right oomph to it so started printing them on photo paper and they look awesome (if i do say so myself ). it can be expensive, but what the hey I say!!

Well, we've just had some pixie photos taken, what a blimmin nightmare, Loralei is so hard to get to smile, she ran crying from the room when we first went in, which incidentally was 1/2 an hour after our appointment was meant to be, arrggghhhm meant for 2 grumpy kids, doesn't make for very good photos, oh well, we'll see, Gabe did end up laughing a bit.
But, when I got home I got a call from my sil to say that a friend of the family had just lost her little girl she was 31 weeks pg, baby was small for her age and the placenta wasn't working properly. I'm not sure if she'll come here, not sure if she's the forum type, she knows about the site, but she also has another friend who has lost a bub, so she has great support. Still, it bought back memories, couldn't help having a bit of a cry. I'll be going to the service on Wednesday morning, I'm sure the tears will be flowing then

Oh Manda, huge hugs to you and your friend of the family. It f**king hard when you hear of others losing their children, and the rush of emotions is overwhealming. Hope that you are feeling better now and enjoyed your night out last night.
Me... I have watched Transformers FOUR times!!!! It is actually a good movie and Bayden LOVED it!!! We booked it on Sky box office and because we have got MY SKY we were able to record it onto our decoder, so now have it there too.

Oh Manda, big hugs!!
Carley, we're watched Transformers a few times, and really enjoyed it too!!
I should go to bed but I'm not in the mood.. Two Johnny Depp movies on two different channels (The Astronaut's Wife on tv2 and The Ninth Gate on tv3)..
Didn't get into the clothes in Aidan's room. On Saturday, went to the market with the kids then to the vege place. Today DH went to PnS and I made a choc brownie.. Very boring!!

One of my friends is currently in the hospital being induced. She's 19 weeks and her baby is gone She's really upset and her dr keeps referring to her induction as 'the process of termination'

Sending all my love and hugs to you and your friend. Apparently one of the specialists at the hospital did that to me too, referred to the whole thing as a "medical termination" until the midwife did her block at them.
I am think of you both. I know this is probably very hard for you too.
