Back in October, a lady I know from LiveJournal was doing a 3 day walk for breast cancer awareness in America. Stoney321's LJ

I asked her to carry Lisa and she said she'd be honoured to do it.

Today, I got an email from LJ saying someone had commented on my post. The comment was screened, so I'm the only one who can see it (with the person who wrote it). It says:

Oh hun, this is so cruel, Lisa you are an inspiration, I know how hard you are fighting this, and you are doing a fab job, we all love you here, I will try and make it to the hospital tomorrow if you are up to visitors, not that you will see this before then, but hey.......
Luv ya hun, miss you, so sorry I didn't make it to see you last weekend.

All my thoughts and love are with you Lisa to help you fight your battle. My thoughts and love also go out to your family at this tough time

Lisa is back in hospice now. I'm going to try and see her today, depends how the kids are, with her permission I will let you know how she is.

Argh, I've typed out 2 big posts and lost them, so will make this short. With lisa's permission I can share a little more, though I'll just share my understanding of it. Lisa is not doing so well, although she was alot better than when I saw her at the hospital last week. The cancer is spreading quickly, skin, other breast, lung, brain and lymph system. It's not looking flash but our darling is fighting. She is still in hospice but is pushing to go home with all the determination that we have come to know. Mum may be able to share a little more.

My thoughts and prayers are with Lisa and family and whoever sees her next please pass on my love.

I have been putting off posting as I was hoping it would never get this bad, but it has and all I want to do is cry my heart out, nobody deserves this especially our Lisa.

Again my love and thoughts are with Lisa during this tough time. My love and thoughts are also with her family and those who have been blessed to meet Lisa and know her. Even though i only know Lisa through here she is a wonderful woman and i am so proud of her for fighting hard.

It just breaks my heart to see such a wonderful and determined young woman have to go through this, with her young beautiful family that has already been through so much.

So so sad that something as Cruel as Cancer is Robbing such a wonderful, loving devoted Mother her life and time and with her children. Poor little Cort his time with his Mummy so limited. Big brave Nita. My heart just breaks for what this family is facing and dealing with.

You have touched my life so much with your bravery and not give up attitude. You are fighting the fight of your life. You are such an Inspiration and it has been an honour to get to know you through this website even though none of us want to be here on it.

Thanks for the update and the pic Manda... it breaks my heart to know that a very dear friend is struggling and having to battle for her life. I want to come up there and visit again but bloody life and work keeps getting in the way!!

Lisa hunny...you are a true inspiration to me. Your determination and perserverance is amazing. Your heart is truly beautiful and that shows in your beautiful children, Jacinta, Nikita, Eden, Laine and lil Cort. Never forget that we are all here for you and that we all think of you often.

Well, just to let you know I called in to see Lisa today on my way home from work.......and..............she wasn't at the hospice, but out SHOPPING!!!!!!!

So keep all those thoughts & prayers coming. You all know how hard she is fighting this, and determined that the only place she is going soon is home.

Same here Rae - I went for a visit around 3pm and was told - "Sorry, out shopping!". I couldn't believe it after seeing her in hospital last Thursday . She certainly wouldn't have managed shopping then.

I did however manage to pop in tonight, and she seemed really upbeat, and alot healthier, which was lovely to see She certainly is an inspiration, and I will pass all of your lovely messages on when I see her on Wednesday, if Manda or Rae have not been to visit beforehand.

BTW if anybody is near a book shop in the next day or two, could you enquire about a book called something like "Mother". its kind of like a Baby Book (the first five years) where you document details, although this is for the Mother to write things in about herself for her children.
If anybody finds out where it is can you pm me so that I can organise to get one for Lisa.
