Re: Our Darling Lisa - Photo added
Those are beautiful photos - I wished I could have been there. I was out at the river yesterday and had a quiet moment and did something special for Lisa.
I think I knew most of those people in that photo, seeing as I have met some of you.
((hugs)) and love to all

Re: Our Darling Lisa - Photo added
Kita was beautiful, she did her mummy very proud. And wee Cort was a mischief - I can just imagine Lisa cracking up at him crawling all over the place while people were talking. I agree with Manda, Ian was strong and brave, I am in awe of his strength. I thought it was a very nice service (as much as these things can be ), it was very Lisa - I know it's not very PC but I *loved* her coffin - her personality shone thru the whole service. I still can't believe she's gone tho - when people were taking photos I kept thinking "we must show these to Lisa", then I realised we can't

Re: Our Darling Lisa - Photo added
I was just listening to some music and this song came on, the first verse reminded me of the last time I saw Lisa:
"The Path Of Thorns" Sarah McLachlan
I knew you wanted to tell me In your voice there was something wrong But if you would turn your face away from me You cannot tell me you're so strong Just let me ask of you one small thing As we have shared so many tears With fervor our dreams we planned a whole life long Now are scattered on the wind...
The last time I saw her I held her hand and had my other hand on the back of her neck and our forheads were touching, she was trying to tell me something, I could hear miss me, I think she was asking me if I will miss her, then she would say miss you, now I know she was saying goodbye, that she couldn't hold on anymore.
Just wanted to share.

Re: Our Darling Lisa - Photo added
Hi guys, I haven't been in her in a long time! But Lisa is my bestfriend and very special to me and my family! I miss her so much and at the moment am still in denial! I can't beleive it or i guess i don't want to beleive it! I just want my girl back! we have been friends a wee while now and are and always will be bestfriends forever. we have shared in the highs and the lows over the last few years. She is my rock. I got a very sad but honourary job and i really hope i done my girl proud along with our other 2 besties Di and Chonny we helped carry our girl into the chapel that has to be one of the hardest things i have ever done in my life but i know it woulda made her proud us 4 girls. I just miss her so much. My heart is broken. Love you always Lis. Your Mara
