My baby turned 5 and started school...
Joel turned 5 last Wednesday and started school on Thursday. It was a bit emotional saying goodbye to him at school but he did really well and enjoyed his first 2 days.
Where does the time go? It seems like yesterday he was born....
We had his party today - it was a water party where all the kids brought their togs and water guns, they had a water fight in the backyard and then had turns on the water slide. It was awesome and luckily the weather held off for us.
Here are some photos of him walking to school with his Dad, and of his cake today.

Hi Alana,
"Happy Birthday Joel"
Loved the cake and it sounds like everybody had a great time. What a big boy off to school and all of that. Time does fly - the last three have with Flynn, he'll be at school before we know it.
Neat photo's by the way. Looks like the kids are only minutes away from starting to dismantle the chocolate fingers

I know I'm late
Hope that you are enjoying school Joel, love the cake, and it is so cool that Dad walked you to school. Bayden would love that, the most he gets is Dad taking him to the bus stop at the end of the gate

Happy birthday Joel! Looks like he is pretty happy to be starting school!
Maya can't wait to start in a couple of weeks but like you I can't believe my "baby" is all grown up!

Awesome cake Alana
Happy Belated Birthday Joel
I can understand you ebing emotional, Loralei hasn't even started creched yet and it's making me emotional just thinking about leaving her there for 2 hours, let alone all week all day.

Late as normal, I make a point of it so it seems.
Happy belated Birthday!!!
5 and off to school, I am glad to hear that his first few days went well and hope this week is just as good.
Stress not it will not be too long before he is in the senior school and talking about Intermeidate (trust me on this one)
