I can't believe that on Tuesday my wee gremlin girls will be two. The past two years have just flown by so fast I haven't even had a chance to catch my breath.
We had their birthday party at McD's yesterday, it was awesome, complete and utter kiddie-chaos but they loved it.
I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to my TLO family, without you guys I might not have gotten thru the past two years. It's been a tough road, we are still working on the bonding and attachment stuff in weekly sessions with a child psychologist from the Kari centre, and I'm still working thru my own "issues" but things are looking up, I love my wee girls to bits and I'm looking forward to the future instead of regretting how much precious time we lost in their early days coz I was too anxious and stressed to enjoy it. And without the support and encouragement I've found here I'm not sure I could have gotten to this point. Most importantly, you have all made me feel completely normal for the way that I feel - it really does help to know I'm not the only one!
So here they are, happy birthday little gremlin girls!
