Well I have to say.....a major breakthrough has occured for me today. Josh and I didn't get to do anything for Valentines day since we had a huge snowstorm over here that day, so we decided to go out to dinner and then a movie tonight. My parents offered to keep Alyssa and Brady overnight (trust me....they begged to keep the kids overnight), so that Josh and I could stay out and enjoy the entire evening.
I wasn't too sure how I felt about leaving Brady there since he's only 3 weeks old (and I'm still a nervous wreck over this whole heart condition thing)....Alyssa loves staying at her grandparents and tries to stay there every chance she gets.
Anyhow....I gave in and Brady is spending the night there. I'm really nervous about it (I took our motion sensor monitor over for my mom to use), but I feel this is a major breakthru for me. I can't believe I'm letting my little boy out of my sight...but he is. I'm not sure how much sleep I'll get being so nervous....but fortunately my parents only live 5 minutes away, and my mom said she wouldn't care if I had to call in the middle of the night to check on him.
Josh and I were talking over dinner tonight, and we both agree that I wouldn't be this nervous if TJ would still be here. Not that I'm blaming little Tyler for any of this....but the innocence of pregnancy and child rearing is gone. Not sure if I will ever be completely comfortable with not having my children around. We actually joked tonight that I may have to move away with Alyssa and Brady, if they go away to college. And move again if they get married and move away.
Anyhow, I thought that once I got thru the pregnancy my nerves and anxiety would calm down, but it's still going in full force.
Bridget

I totally agree with you Bridget, my anxiety and nerves got worse after I had Timothy and its only been in the last month they have settled down, I still get anxious when my boy isnt here with me and cant wait for him to be back with me.
Big hugs babe, hope you get some sleep.

Thanks for sharing those beautiful pics, Bridget, he is just gorgeous. And it is nice to see you in one of them too (I had forgotten what you looked like!!).
I also hear what you mean about being anxious about him. I still go into Julia's room at least once a night to check she is breathing, I get really worried that something is going to happen to her.
You are brave letting Brady stay overnight without you, well done. I still haven't let Julia out overnight although that might have something to do with my b@@bies!!
