OMG Carley, I have been having the most bizarre dreams with this pregnancy and last night I dreamt you got your BFP and had posted a ticker. Fingers crossed it wasn't just my crazy hormones, and is a sign of good things to come soon!
What do you have to do differently this time with the Rh/antibodies thing?

Emma you are a hard case!!!
With the anit k antibodies I would need WEEKLY blood tests to monitor my titre levels, and from that they can tell if my anitbodies are kicking in and if there is a problem they would intervene in someway, if that means an early termination or a blood transfusion on bubs depending no how far along I would be. But on the other hand there could be no problems at all and I could sail thru the next one with no worries, like I did with Bayden. At the 20 week scan, instead of having it at the local hospital I would need to probabaly go to the likes of Waikato and have it done there as they would be able to tell at that one if there was anything wrong and they could do something about it there or they would send me up to Aucks and do stuff there.
Hope that covers it?? if there are anymore questions I'm alsways poping in so ask away

Wow, weekly blood tests! You're going to be like a pin cushion! Tee hee, I can only laugh coz I'm still covered in bruises from having IV lines in all over the place in hospital
Good luck this month, baby dust!

Any news? I was just looking at your ticker on another thread (lucky you having a 28day cycle, I'm 42 days!). I've got my fingers crossed for you.

Carly!!
I can't believe that it's only a month (well it will be on Sunday) that Liam passed away and I can't wait to get pregnant again - I'm sure that isn't normal!!??
We have an appointment with the IVF specialist next week. To cut a long story short, Caitlyn was an IVF baby and Liam came along naturally. We had 5 embryos in storage and had decided when we got pregnant with Liam naturally that we probably didn't need them anymore and had decided (after a huge amount of soul serching to donate for research). Of course when we lost Liam we really regretted that decision .... however, my Midwife just happened to be speaking to our specialist and he went and checked to see if the embryos were still there and they are! We were thrilled! It just takes the pressure off knowing that they are there and we may look at getting one put in over the next 1-2 months.

Oh Tanya, thats excellent news about the embryos, I guess that takes a little pressure off wondering and waiting to see if it'll happen naturally again.
As for the wanting to get pg again soon, your feelings are totally normal, but in saying that, if you didn't want to get pg again, that'd be normal too, thats the crazy thing about all of this, theres no black or white. You've probably already read in previous posts that a few of us were thinking about getting pg again as soon as we found out we had lost our child. For me, it was prety much as soon as the sonographer confirmed Trinitys heart had stopped beating that I told Corey I wanted to have another baby. It was a tough journey, but I don't regret my decision (just don't ask me that at 5am after I've been up for 2 hours already and I'm still trying to get children to sleep )

well I went down to the local nurses clinic to get a test done, had a very full bladder and everything, annnnd I had to wait for nearly an HOUR!!! . In the end I had to leave as I had to be at the school at 10.30 and was going to be late. So no news as of yet, and as Manda put it the ugly hag hasnt shown up yet. Am now feeling really tender in the boobies too, so will have to wait and see....
