Post Currently TTC
Hi ladies,

I didn't want to invade anyone's thread so thought I might post a new topic for anyone currently TTCing for updates, advice and support.

I'm on CD2 now, had my usual CD1 cry yesterday and general feeling sorry for myself, but am now feeling very positive about this next cycle. I even started acupuncture this week, and wondered how this went for anyone else who has done it?

:bighug: :bighug: :bighug: :bighug: :bighug:

Right, off to make myself a ticker....

Hi Queenbean,

It's exciting that you are ttcing, I hope you get to the pg thread really really quickly, good luck luv :luck: :goodluck: :luck:

I started acupuncture really soon after losing Mia and have found it to be fantastic. I had never tried it before and had my doubts but my midwife recommended it for emotional and physical healing and to get my cycles back on track so we could start ttcing. It has definitely worked as I got my first AF 4.5 weeks after the birth and am now on my 3rd cycle. Hope it works for you!! I also just love doing it as some relaxing me time, I find it super relaxing and I just drift off. Have thought about combining it with yoga too, so am going to look into classes. Anything that relaxes you has got to be good for ttc right??

I know what you mean re CD1 tho, what a bummer of a day, mine was on Sat and wrote me off entirely for the day, but did mean I could abandon my healthy eating pattern for a bit and hit the junk food.

Good luck!

Goodluck with the TTCing Queenbean. I hope it happens quickly for you :)
I haven't had acupuncture myself, but I have heard it can do some pretty amzing things across the board
We are looking at trying in June now. We are going to Queenstown for 4 days, for the winter festival, right around the right time, so here's hoping  DH will enjoy anyway

In saying that AF still hasn't arrived, however I am sure it just my body playing tricks on me  The only time we did it was about CD20. Has anybody else Ovulated this late? Queenbean - I'm not trying to threadjack, but thought I would just throw the question in for everybody to gain knowledge on

Sending you big hugs and the best of luck Queen Bean! We are TTC too and it's nice to be sharing this experience with a number of others on here.

Sorry I can't send you any baby dust as I need all I can get ..... but can send you a :bighug: instead.

Thanks so much ladies!

Tania: Glad to hear that acupuncture has been good for you, that's a great idea about yoga, I haven't done that for years! So sorry to see that the awful witch got you too :bighug:

Yvonne: You are totally NOT threadjacking!! I meant this thread to be for everyone TTCing! I usually ovulate around CD20 so it may not be too late at all!! Good luck for June but you never know about this cycle  What cycle day are you on now?

Tanya: Will you be testing soon? Or wait to see if AF is late?

I'm day 28, but i normally only have a 23-25day cycle. I tested on day 26 but had BFN - could have been to soon :? . I might just be having a long cycle this month.

I have had 4 cycles since having Satori, and they have all been 25days, apart from last month which was 23days.

I am a bit worried though because I wasn't trying last month, and had a big night after CD20, which would not be ideal. Certainly wouldn't give me any comfort if I found out I was BFP :?

Wow if Yvonne gets a BFP, then there MUST be something in the air!!! ..... have you tested yet?? Did you do a home PG test or at the Doctors - I have heard of the home ones giving BFN when in fact they are BFP!!??

I will wait to see what happens with AF before I test. Because of our problems in the past TTC, I've learned not to get my hopes up ....... but I can't help but wonder. I think it's the first time we have done such purposeful BDing at the right time of the month if you know what I mean!!

I have been having a little bit of lower back pain, a couple of little niggles in my boobs and have felt a little light headed over the last few days .... but again ..... don't want to get my hopes up!!!

Well ladies I tested again and BFN. AF is still not here, and to be honest I probably had more syptoms of it coming 5days ago, than I do now.Its all very confusing as I have never had a 28day cycle before.

I guess I will just wait and see - time will tell.

Tania - I have been using HP tests, but I also used them prior to going to the doctor on my last two pg, and they showed a BFP. Every pg is different though, so I will wait. I have a hospital appt on Monday so if AF has not shown up I will get tested then. :)

Hey Yvonne,

If you ovulated on CD20 maybe its just a bit early to test. Hopefully by Monday, the test at the hospital might show a different result!!! :goodluck:

Well ladies - Still no AF! This is very unusual

I'm not going to do another Home PG test - will wait until Monday, and have a proper test if it still hasn't arrived. :)

I hope you are all having a Fab weekend :)

Well Tanya, It seems that it is the month for AF's to play up and keep us all guessing :? Sorry to hear that yours came early. :(

I'm a bit gutted too as I did a test at the hospital & BFN. Still no AF though!

They gave me a bloods form for this Thursday, if it still hasn't turned up, just to double check. They said that stress can sometimes play around with your cycle, and this may be one of the reasons for it.

I don't feel particularly stressed - The only reason I have at the moment to be stressed is that AF hasn't turned up and no BFP :gaah:

On a positive note the bloods that I did last week are all normal :)

Yvonne, maybe its that late ovulation? Still might be a bit early for an HPT? Anyway, it good you are getting those bloods done and then you'll know for sure

Still not here :gaah: Went for blood test this morning - must have had a trainee, as I have a huge bruise on me arm :gaah:

FYI, I was on the internet :computer: last night, reading up on late conception and they say that sometimes the Flu (which I had) can cause you to ovulate later and that the time between ovulation and AF will always be the same  hence the lateness of AF with BFN. I thought this was interesting and a definite possibility.

Oh well the blood test will sort it out, and tell me whats what :)

If nothing it has certainly given me an insight to how I will be emotionally when it does happen  :shifty: :hide:
