Post tickers and counters
Hi. I have noticed that I am not seeing some tickers and counters on people threads, that have been there before. They seem to come up as boxes with a red X in them. Is it just me or is this happening? :?

I fixed mine, don't know what happened, I had to recreate them.
Lisa, why did you remove them (hope you don't mind me being nosey).
Yvonnne, sometimes I think it's because the website where they were created is down, in lamens terms that is, because I'm no techy and thats how I'd decribe it.

The tickers and counters that you have in your signatures are independant and are reliant upon both the web server and the database system where you created the ticker.

You can test a ticker by cut and pasting the link into the address bar. If it does not show then either the host is down or the system that generates the tickers is faulty.

Remember that the tickers or counter themselves are not stored on the lost ones only the link to them is stored.

my tickers seems to be doing their own thing time wise. They dont match the sites that created them. I've fiddled around with the timezone, but still not right. Any ideas? Or better still is there an NZ site that would have them?
