Had a visit with the MW today and everything is tracking along nicely. Got to hear peanut's heartbeat for for the first time which was really cool - around 140 bpm. Starting to get quite a 'pot' already and I think my work pants days are very numbered!! ...... trying to keep away from the maternity clothes for as long as possible as I know I will be completely sick of them before too long!

I'm glad all is ticking along, and that you are growing
Take Care

Thought it was time I posted another update:
As I am in the higher risk category for diabetes, I have been asked to be part of a special study programme on diabetes in pregnant women. This meant that rather than waiting until 28 weeks for the Glucose Tolerance Test, they wanted me to have it around 12 weeks. Because I had been feeling so sick, they were happy for me to wait a few more weeks - solast Friday was the day. I got my results back yesterday and everything is looking normal! - Yahhhhh ..... I can continue with my regular Macas for breakfast!!!!
I am starting to feel some fluttery sensations which is very exciting. I can't wait to feel those more pronounced jabs though!

Had a visit with the Midwife today and everything is looking good. I had been feeling particularly anxious this week - possibly in view of two of our lovely TLO ladies loosing their babies, I'm not sure.
Our MW had a student with her which I was quite happy about and asked if I would mind her feeling my tummy and listening for the heartbeat. Being a student she took a bit of time and even though we heard a couple of good kicks on the monitor, it took a while to here that precious . But there it was finally as strong as ever. Now I think about it, I should have told the MW that I was feeling anxious and just got her to do it - one day I'll learn!
I've got the form for the anatomy scan for week 19 - so will be booking that in later today.

Had our 19 weeks scan today and everything is looking fantastic. I was a bundle of nerves before hand - I was so worried that they were going to find something wrong. Part of that came from not feeling as much movement as I had with Caitlyn and Liam. I mainly feel it when I lean forward and it's out at the sides. Since seeing the ultrasound, the placenta is right across the front - so that would explain it.
Sorry gals but I have been sworn to secrecy on the sex (the only way I could convince DH to find out!). So it will just have to be a surprise!
Peanut was wriggling around so much and was even seen to be sucking it's thumb at one point. All together ...... awwwwwww!
Will hopefully get the pics later today and will post them.
I'm feeling very relieved!

Congrats on a great scan, relief all round hey!!! We did not have to be told about our little dude being a boy.... it was very obvious.
My next scan is at 22 weeks, so quite excited about that. The tension between my hubby and I when we enter a scan is enormous until something positive is said, I watch him scanning for a heart beat, then he sighs, smiles and does the AW so cute...
