Post Frustrated...
I was supposed to have my follow-up appointment on Monday but at 5.15pm tonight I got a phone call and I was told that they still don’t have the post mortem results. I am so annoyed  – I was told that it would take a maximum of six weeks to get the result and I really wanted to get some closure before Christmas. I really want to call somebody up and yell at them but the hospital system is such as mess that I wouldn’t even know who to call. Anyway, just needed to get this off my chest…..

gggrrrrr how annoying!!! When I turned up to my followup appt, they told me everything was ok with the genetic tests they did on me and my husband, then came running after us crying nooo they havent even done them yet!! I was gutted to have to wait another 3 weeks for those. But in a way, at least you might be a bit more side tracked with it being xmas and everything. :bighug:

sorry to hear that angelakate...did they not give you a new appointment. My results from placenta wernt there when i went and they just faxed them thru from wellington while i was ther. Might be a little more complicated for a post-mortom but if you have the energy ringing up whoever did it might help speed it up the process.
Hope it goes ok

Sorry to hear of your frustration also, I remember feeling exactly the same way when waiting for Beanies results... They told us 6 - 8 weeks, we finally were able to meet with the specialist in the 9th week, I also was very gutted. As you do just want some form of closure. We did not get any answers anyhow, so there has never been any closure, but all I can say, is that when that day comes all the strength that you have gathered in these past few weeks, disappears for a few days but it comes back ten times stronger, if that makes sense.
I hope you have a great xmas under the circumstances and that you remain feeling stronger and stronger every day.

Hi AngelaKate,

I understand your frustration. I really wish they would be more realistic in the timeframe they give us as I don't know of anybody who has had their angels pm results back on time. :x

Its such a long wait, filled with so many emotions and we expect to get them when we are told we will - recieving pm results is such an important part of this very sad journey, however to them it is just a clinical assessment, to be done when they get to it!!!!

((((hugs)))) sweet, and I hope you get the answers soon.
