Hey babe, bugger about the gastro, I had food poisoning with Jacinta but she is fine (can I blame her attitude on that?)

LOL Lisa, Attitude. Hmmm Maybe I had the Gastro with Flynn too...lol.

Well it seems to have passed (nothing coming out of either end TMI) however I am still feeling a bit squiffy at times, although I think this is good old MS  I only ever suffered from it slightly in my 1st two pg - generally when I'm tired. The fact that I'm constantly tired at the moment, due to the new job is probably not helping me feel a box of birds

I have an early scan booked on 29Dec, and I will do my bloods between Xmas & New Year as I need a couple of hours to do a very early GTT, which will need to be done monthly with this pg - Awww that'll be fun

I'm feeling really freaked about everything at the moment. I feel every little twinge, worried about being sick, worried about not being sick, emotional, worried about scan.....Aaargh!!! Probably quite normal, but please ladies have you got any pointers on how to get thru staying sane

:bighug: Yvonne, glad the tummy bug seems to have passed. No pointers on how to relax though, I was a nervous wreck up until my anatomy scan and only slightly more relaxed now! :bighug: :bighug: :bighug:

:bighug: Yvonne, all the things that you have described are perfectly natural, and unfortunatley they are part and parcel of a subsquent pregnancy after a loss. I too dont have any magical remedies, other than to say that if you need to talk and vent your feelings we are all here for you. I can honeslty say that I still felt like a nervous wreck even when they were wheeling me into theatre on the day I had Jessica. I guess it is the fact that there is not alot that we, as mere humans, can do to prevent the horrible from happening. I know this may sound weird, but when I found out I was pregnant I sat down and talked to Julia, and asked her to keep her little brother or sister safe with her until it was time for him/her to come into our arms safe and sound, and I am sure that Satori will do the same for your precious wee cargo.

hope that this has helped and please remember that we are here for you...((MWAH))

I wish too that I had something magic to say to help you cope. I have to say that now bubs is moving around quite a bit, I feel a lot more relaxed. But then I wake up in the middle of the night and think ..... have I felt bubs move for a while and then get all anxious until I feel it again.

Just try and stay calm and positive - best thing for you AND bubs. Hang in there and we are all here for you to share what you are feeling.

I suppose thee feelings just come with the territory after loss. I have a scan on 29th Dec so hopefully it will make me slightly less paranoid for a little while.

Man, its probably been a pretty long year for some of you preggy ladies, so far huh? And then of course there are our two most resent successes who give us all alot of hope :)

Thanks again for your support :grphug:

Post Re: XMAS SUPRISE!!!!
Hi lovelies,

I've had a friend over tonight so have only just got on, but just want to say that the scan - all 2 mins of it - went well. He said he could see a fetal pole, and a we saw a little blob and a  so that was good :) It looks to be a singleton pregnancy - :phew: - so thats good too.

I am 7wks 2days, so not alot to see, as you can imagine, however the  was important.

I have a picture, which shows a slightly grey mass, however my scanner does not work so I can not show you. I will work on getting it up and running for my 12wk scan.

Thanks so much guys - its goos to have such a fab support team :)
