Our day today......
Is such a beautiful day here in Christcrhuch today - warm, and the suns out - couldn't have asked for anything more - its been so yuck here for weeks.
Have felt a bit sad today - remembering what the 8th July last year brought us - and what's happened in that year since that day.
We went and got a special tree, and planted it out at the land - is the first and only tree out there - so that was really special. We buried bubs what he/she come home in (that infamous white box) in front of the tree, and quite low down - and then popped some pretty rocks I'd found around it. Very special to know that our first tree out there is a memorial tree for our baby - and it will end up growing into something really big - which I thought was appropriate.
I did take some photo's - and will add them later. Doesn't look like much at the moment, just some rocks, dirt and the tree, but one day it'll be healthy and strong.
We are going to get some bigger stones and paint them (one each) and pop them there when they are done. There is no plaque or anything - but its going to be the only tree like it we'll have - and it'll have the rocks - so is special to us.

Doesn't look like much, but its going to grow to be a big tree - and is going to be the only one out there like it.
The rocks I tried to shape like a heart, but don't think I did too well at that. The biggest rock at the bottom looked a little like a heart too - but yeah, you get the idea.
Will be adding special coloured rocks later

Telly, what a great idea. I love the idea of the rocks, and can see the heart shaped one. Glad that the day went well for you.
Like you say, you have done a lot in the past year.
